I'm sure it was frozen. I've heard so many wonderful things so we took our daughter here to celebrate her graduation ? - except it was nothing but shear disappointment. every meal was pathetic, 6 of us and not one person was happy with their food. ? I will never eat here again. huge nope
Super nice Italian place. Food was excellent and so was the service. It had a very old school family owned feel that we loved.
Nothing really stood out here. Long waits because the kitchen was doing doordash orders instead of prioritizing in-house customers. Inattentive staff. Unimpressive menu. Nothing terrible, but nothing amazing either. Skippable.
We went to Sorrento’s while in town for the marathon. The place is an average sized restaurant that kind of reminds me of the restaurants in Boston’s North End. We had about a ten minute wait to be seated which wasn’t bad considering how busy they were. I had the raviolis with meat sauce and my wife had chicken parmigiana. Both were very good. One thing that really impressed me was the staff. Everyone was very polite, personable, professional and attentive. Not once did I have to ask for refills of any drinks and the empty plates were quickly removed. All of our food was brought out quickly and hot. We had been looking for a good Italian restaurant in Anchorage and we found a great one in Sorrento’s. If I lived in Anchorage, I definitely would be a regular. Thanks for the great dinner.
The outside doesn't look the best, BUT the inside? It's amazing.Such a great and romantic atmosphere.The food is delicious, love their Alfredo, their kind to kids and it's the best Italian food in the city.
Went here tonight for the first time, we have door dashed them loads of times in the past but never actually went to the restaurant. Our server was incredible, nicest I think I’ve ever had. He noticed my baby eating a cucumber slice from our salad and brought her a plate of them! And he brought new drinks before we even asked as well. His timing was impeccable and he was so polite. The food, of course, was amazing as always, definitely a little better since it was more fresh than door dash but that shows how good they are with their delivery orders as well.
Omg!!! Can we say amazing Italian that never misses! When my husband & I crave pasta, we immediately choose Sorrento’s. We love the Fettuccine di Mare which has a mixture of shrimp, scallops, and halibut. I like the added cajun season to spice things up as well. The Caesar is really delicious as well. Definitely a quaint place for family dinners and date nights.
Wonderful place with delicious Italian cuisine! Fast seating with short wait if you have 4 people or less during packed days. If you're ever curious, I'd reccomend the Escargot. It's an odd dish for most people but I'm one of those that eats various escargot dishes, and they are delicious. If you do have a party of 5+ then you'll have to wait a lot longer since this isn't a large restaurant and very few large group tables available, mostly booths available.
I always love sorentos , that have had the same great menu for years and they always make the food right the first time
I needed a quick Italiano fix. This was quick and delicious. It's the trio sampler and amazing garlic bread.
