First time here, it was delicious!! We got the family hot pot with two meats and a bowl of vegetables, and it was amazing. Our friend who lived in China said it tasted very authentic and the best he’s had in the US. We will definitely be back. The hot pot came very quickly but some other dishes may take longer. Just a small hole in the wall place but worth it.
Real authentic Chinese food. Very delicious!!Depending on what you order it might take a little while to get your food. But the wait is totally worth it!
Great food, great service. We ordered online and everything was ready when it was supposed to be. The oreo cakes were really good, and they had the best sweet and sour chicken I've had anywhere. We will be back.
Braised duck and fries dumplings are amazing. You can find authentic Chinese food here. Mo li hua (jasmine) tea is great too. They use real flowers for the tea.
Boss recommended and why not. I always love Charlie’s Bakery - great cake, good people and it won’t hurt to Try something new. Drive across town. Walked in around 3:20 pm; the door was opened, a woman sitting in the corner looked at me, and I felt I was probably too early or they were closed. I asked if they were open and didn't understand the answer. Said I am interested in ordering a cake. She wasn't accomodating at all and Very annoyed. They told me to check the design online. They may make a good cake but lack of customer service can kill their business.
The portions were weird, either big or very small. My friend and I all got sick after eating here. The glass over the tables looked like it had things growing under it. The waitress definitely seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She gave us weird looks when we asked her if we needed to wait to be seated or could just sit down. The soup dumplings don’t seem made in house but the ones you get from Costco.Just overall a bad experience overall.Will not be coming back
honestly horrible customer service. my sister and i walked in with 4 kids and there was SEVERAL tables that were just sitting with dirty dishes while the employees sat in the back. when the employee came out to ask how many people, we told her 2 adults 4 kids; she rolled her eyes and told us to stand in the middle of the restaurant with the menus to see if we wanted to eat there and if we wanted to THEN she would clean a table for us. we stood there with two babies and two toddlers while she waited to clean the tables when we finally decided to leave as we were obviously unwelcome. i would NOT recommend going here and i would give it 0 stars if that was possible.
Excellent quality and taste, we'll be back We took our meals carry out but look forward to dining in. The dining area is very nice and clean. Excellent service and friendly staff.
Excellent home-style Shanghainese food. It may be different than what you'd expect at other Chinese restaurants. The food is a little on the sweet side as is typical of Shanghai cuisine. Bakery is top notch. I thought it was better than Charlie's Bakery (which is also good).
Order took long. There was only one other person in the restaurant eating. The server was very unfriendly. I don't need that. I can waste my money at better restaurants with better food and friendly staff!! Sure, not going back there!!
