Nice sunny day out on the pad. Service was wonderful. Wait time was thee only thing that kind of sucks to be seated but it worked out
As of July 2022. Take out, the sandwiches were good but small compared to dine in. The side salad was well done but only about a cup in total volume. The real failure was not including the sidewinder fries for either order. This meal was $50 plus tip and definitely not worth it.Check your order very carefully!
Incredible food! We tried the smothered Halibut and were overwhelmed by how delicious it was. And the service was great! Jr. was fast, attentive, and very skilled at handling our big group of kids and adults. Definitely will be coming back for more!
Spicy Burger, nice medium rareWas just lacking in flavor and heatAdded salt and pepper and made it much better!!Clam Chowder was OK, a little salty and had too much grit in my taster bite with a fork.Fried Calamari was OK nice and tender but no crisp reallySweet potato fries were on point but came 5 min after main course came out. Plus appetizer calamari came out with mains.OK overall this timeIt's been better beforeOH 35 min ticket time at 1pm ish!!
Get into these crab cake slides that are normally an appetizer but I’d much rather it as a meal. So I slapped a side of broccoli w/ it. The crab cakes are sooo good and fresh on Hawaiian rolls. There was so much flavor on those buns. The salmon was also great and a good sauce was topped on it. I also had a Cadillac margarita which isn’t pictured but it was tasty and strong.
A go to favorite. Menu has a huge variety. Steaks are probably the best in Anchorage (my opinion)! The Folly French dip is a favorite as well! (Can be a little salty, depending on the cook)...they also have an amazing wedge salad!!! And they are great at accommodating when you want to share a dish (they split the meal into 2 and bring it out on 2 separate plates)! Prices reasonable.
My husband described this restaurant as "Jack of all trades, master of none". They have an extensive menu, but from our experience, a large variety doesn't always mean quality. We had a to-go order of cod with fries, and fried shrimp with tots and broccoli. It was all soaked with grease, literally dripping from the fish. Everything was mushy, except for the shrimp which was mostly fried breading. We didn't get our broccoli, or any utensils or napkins either. The tea was very watered down. I didn't even realize it was tea until my husband told me. The lemonade was fine, just basic minute maid lemonade. Maybe the food is better if you eat in and not get it to go.
Food: Amazing.Service: OK.Cocktails: absolutely garbage. Don't buy any of their drinks, even if you live within walking distance. Whoever makes their cocktails should go back to school.
This is probably my favorite place to eat in Anchorage. They have really good food. I haven't tried anything that I didn't like. They are priced reasonably and their service has always been excellent.
The steak was pretty darn good. Loved the sweet potato fries. My friend Lyz had the Folly burger and said that was awesome too. There was no butter on the mashed potatoes and the extra dirty gin martini was ok, not the best I've ever had. The waitress was awesome and asked if everything was ok, if we needed anything else... attentive and took care of our needs. Not sure if go back again though.
