I love this place. The bread is always fresh, the sandwiches are delicious, and the people are always kind. There's one on both sides of town!

They made it and I ate it…wonderful veggie wrap with avocado on Souper Saturday. So glad we visited. Staff is kind and helpful, it’s clean and you can design your own sandwich. Great weekend lunch spot while running errands.
This was our first experience with this place. The workers were friendly. I came with my three children. My ten year old chose a small sandwich and only ate half and was also dissapointed that they don't have any ketchup.Both my middle children and I enjoyed our food and all of us were quite full when finished.The table and chairs were comfortable. The atmosphere inside is comparable to a picnic.
So I was on my way to the opening of the newest Anchorage brewery (Brewerks) but also had a need for food. Sara's just so happened to be close to this awesome brewery. So a quick stop at Sara's scored me a MeatBall Sub (fantastic and enough for 2 meals). I took the sandwich to Brewerks, ordered an IPA (also fantastic) and grabbed an oak barrel table upstairs. Nothing better than a tasty sandwich with a tasty brew!!!
They have always been one of the best sandwich shops in town today was terrible I bought two almost no meatI’ll have to find a new place in town
I absolutely love Saras! We order from here often. I want others to keep in mind that the delivery is through postmates and can take a long time since there are very few drivers. This is not Saras fault at all. There sandwiches are great, the customer service is outstanding, and my family will continue to go to both locations as long as they remain open.
