This place had great sushi. I’m so glad we found it on a whim. If we lived in Anchorage, it would be our go to place! We had one beef teriyaki box and the dragon and rainbow roll. Everything was delicious.
I would give 5 stars but the rest of the table was scared to death of the waitress. I thought she was fabulous and the 3 full grown men were scared to ask for extras or a box. ???The food was great, the rolls are huge and fresh. I would highly recommend going if you are in town and are craving some sushi. By far the best place in anchorage.It was so good , we forgot to take good pictures!
It’s the best sushi place that I’ve been to so far, and their Crunch roll and Ronnie roll is to die for. It’s amazing!
Would NOT recommend...mediocre food, rude serviceI've been coming here for over three years now. I usually bring visiting friends and family here when craving some sushi. My wife and I came in kind of late (9:50pm, closing time: 11:00pm). The food last night was pretty rough. This is the second visit in a row where the food seemed a bit off. I actually did not finish my food this time since I did not want to risk getting sick (I did not get sick). The service this time was pretty bad too. Our waitress was rude and threw menus at us without saying a word. I gave her the benefit of the doubt though and actually left her a tip despite the rude service. We all have off days you never know what someone else is going through. I'll happily spend my $$ elsewhere from now on. Best of luck to Ronnie Sushi...they are going to need it.P.S. One positive from my visit to Ronnie Sushi last night was seeing Ron Jeremy's photo on the wall by the entry/exit...that made me laugh!

The Ronnie Roll is like a beautiful masterpiece created by a benevolent sushi god. Quality service, kind and friendly staff, and speedy times on take-out. No delivery, but worth the drive to pick-up. Thanks for being amazing Ronnies!!
Been there before and the service a d food were good. Went today and apparently the waitress with the mask on was having a bad day because she was very rude almost to the point that we were an inconvenience. After a while she came to take our order with nothing to write down the order. My wife ordered a steak medium rare along with our sushi roll order. The lady brought out our food on a cart and then before putting the food on the table left to do something else. After waiting several minutes we decided to put the food on the table to eat as the lady still had not returned. We noticed that instead of my wife’s steak, they had made her short ribs. She waited patiently for the lady to come back and had to wave the lady down after a while as she never returned, not even to re fill our water. The lady argued with my wife about what she had ordered and reluctantly went to have a steak made. After another 20-25 minutes the steak came and whatever they did to it in the back, they did not put any flavor in it. The lady with the mask never returned but the lady without the mask was very nice and much more personable. This will be our last visit there. Too many other great food places in Anchorage to put up with horrible customer service.
DONT EAT HERE!!! If you are of African descent don’t eat here!! My sister was just told to sit in the back and received horrible service! She wasn’t waited on until after everyone else in the entire restaurant and there was only three other parties in the entire restaurant. Apparently the manger of the site doesn’t come until after five pm. And the person who answered my call HING UP ON ME! And I WILL BE CALLING BACK TO SPEAK WITH THEM! Again I say people who identify as BIPOC DONT EAT HERE!
A hidden gem, Ronnie Sushi is every bit as good as every other sushi restaurant I've visited in Anchorage. Fast, polite service, and very affordable food. They even have another location over on Muldoon.
Every time I come to town, I have to get Ronnie sushi. It’s amazing and always made the same. Service tonight was amazing.
