Just being tourists we popped in for a drink. Definitely a dive bar, and I love dive bars so it was cool. Very mellow. Bartenders were funny, very lively. Affordable drinks. Sat at the boor with some of the regulars and everyone was friendly. Good little spot

We walked here after (and before) eating at Glacier Brewhouse and I’m glad we did! The staff was very friendly, service was fast and drinks were cheap. Later in the evening the bar got very busy and was a fun atmosphere the entire time we were there. It’s one of the older bars (if not the oldest) in town and there’s plenty of tasteful character all over the place. It’s much whiter and casual during earlier hours if big crowds aren’t your thing.I hope I get to visit this bar again someday!

This was our go to hangout while attending a convention in Anchorage. Cold beer, pool, jukebox, and days that never seem to end… what’s not to like?

Cool little spot. Dive bar feel. They have free food sometimes. Drink prices are realistic, as in very affordable.

A lot more welcoming than Fletcher's in the Cook Hotel! Thanks for having room, unlike Fletchers despite having reservations.

I observed that they have pool tables, a bar serving drinks, sometimes a dj and musicians entertaining the people inside.?Instagram: @qwizrichards

Awesome dive bar! My wife and I stopped in on a recommendation from another bartender and weren't disappointed in the least. We actually went back every day we were in anchorage. The staff is friendly and the drinks were great. Be careful with the pulltabs they can get addictive but fun none the less

The bar seems like a really nice bar. But one of the workers tried taking my phone and when my friends confronted him he got so defensive. Lol just keep an eye out for your belongings. Other then that seems like a good bar to chill. ?

Great chill vibes - local pub feel.Bartenders were very friendly and provided great service. Beer/Cider selection on point for draft. Even the regulars that came in were fun to be around and great conversation flowing. Good music, overall great time!If you're from Chicago (not the downtown bougie areas) - real Chicago - this is your place. Go here.

The Irish coffee is the best on the northern hemisphere.
