I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a better star rating. It’s a wonderful option for vegans and vegetarians! Visited for the third time and the food and service were excellent. Can’t wait to have dinner at Namaste again!
I enjoyed my Nepalese thali here. The service and food were good. A thali is nice because you get to sample a variety of dishes.
Great menu selections and very aromatic flavors. I love that you can order just sauces on the side for a very reasonable price, which made the meal much more fun. We are visiting from out of town and stopped in with others who are not familiar with this regional food, but the sauces selection let us all try a lot of different flavors. I also have to mention the the portion sizes are absolutely what Alaska needs. Also, fantastic service provided in this family-run business. Best bang for your buck in anchorage.
Huge portions, enormous menu, delicious food. We got 1/2 order of momos, a veg thali, and a lamb vindaloo and had enough for 2 for dinner plus leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely recommend this to anyone!
The best Indian I came across in Anchorage I have the non-chicken curry in the chicken tikka all were exceptional the sauces were fresh and it was all worth the wait five out of five very delicious
Awesome place, great taste and even better service. This was our first meal in Alaska and it was nice to find some familiar food to start with after a longish flight. We were a bit short in time and they were very considerate and suggested dishes they can serve quickly. We got everything in less than 5-10 min making the checkout super smooth. Would highly recommend this place.
Pretty sub par from what I tasted. I got a medium spiced spinach soup and a mildly spiced malai kofta. The flavors were very subtle compared to some of the richness I’ve tasted at other Indian restaurants. Maybe because it’s more of a general Himalayan cuisine? Not sure. Their coffee was also burnt and bland sadly. But if you want a light Indian cuisine maybe this is your place.

These people employee illegal immigrants and coach them into marrying for money or or for false hope and then they save that persons money in cash at their restaraunt so that the money is not traceable and then help the immigrant to leave after the 3 year mark in marriage. Very sad and very Despicable.
Incredible Indian food! Extremely flavorful and loaded with exotic spice. Resturant has a great oriental ambiance inside with great decorations and staff. Love coming here!
