First time back after a few years. The new owner definitely know how to kick it up a notch! Had the best Halibut Tacos I've had in a long time! Gonna make it hard not to be a weekly stop!
So I get into town after 14 years, I'm a Soldotna but been outta town on business. I'm walking by on my way to the Dimond Bank and I see this gem in the rough a Mexican restaurant. My fave, and I've just flown from Florida for the day and a half I was hungry. Well the staff was as kind as a family would be. It's very clean and comfortable. The food is anthemic Mexican. Tough gritty tortilla and chunky portions con carne. A great idea.
Nice employees. Very friendly. I ordered the Mexican pizza. It was pretty good. I love the lighting, it is relaxing and no sensory overload. Nice music, not too loud. I'd go there again!

Food and drinks were excellent - had a skinny margarita ? option, too! Would certainly go back! Just make sure you have a bit of time... thinking they may be short staffed as we did have to wait a bit for service but our waitress was amazing!
Awesome food and drinks. The chips and salsa were very good I think homemade. I had the chimichamga and tacos and both tasted very good. I had the double barrel Margaritas that was good as well.
Great margaritas and dinner. Service was prompt and food was great! Definitely will be going again for drinks
4 stars for atmosphere and Mexican food, 3 stars for Italian food.
I ordered the chili verde enchiladas with rice and beans on the side. Enchiladas were bland and beans were alright a little too salty..it was my first time there, and I wasn't impressed. For me I wouldn't recommend this place.
Horrible service. Waited about an hour and a half for our food, and then it was the wrong food. So we had to wait another half an hour for the right food. Food wasn't great and small portions. Try Hacienda's... More bang for your buck.
