Wow. Words cannot describe the deliciousness of the burger I was provided. Perfectly cooked with the exact toppings I requested. Side of tater tots was an excellent addition to the burger. Wonderful place for great food and fast service. You won't be let down at Kriner's Burgers & Pies.
We decided to try the #2 & #4 burger. They were huge a massive portion. I was only able to finish half. The burgers had really good flavors and you can even add more toppings for free. They have different sauces to go with the wedges and tots to add another punch of flavor. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the mood for a burger.
* Gluten Free Burger Buns here! *Tucked away in the Glenn Square strip mall, is an open and much more spacious than I thought, looking from the outside, restaurant. I got some art supplies from across the street and was incredibly hungry. I decided to come into Kriner's Burgers & Pies to see what was available. When I parked, I saw a few outside tables with flowers on each with couples and families enjoying the beautiful sunny afternoon.Staff were friendly to me and their menu was on a large sign on the wall behind the register that has simple options with a list of FREE toppings to choose however many you like with your burger. Gluten-Free Burger Buns are $1.99 extra, but trust me, these are one of the best Gluten-Free Burger Buns in Anchorage! I'm wondering if they make them because they were delicious and NOT sad and flat like many gluten free store bread items! I got a #3 (bacon cheeseburger) with a few toppings including their candied jalapenos and sauteed mushrooms. These candied jalapenos were sweet with heat that were not over powering and a great flavor addition.Instead of fries, I got tots with my order. I highly recommend the tots. These were so flavorful and crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and cooked on the inside. To jazz it up even more, Kriner's Burgers & Pies has many different dipping sauces to choose from. I got the sweet and spicy ketchup. Again, not too overbearing on the spice but just enough.I ordered a vanilla milkshake with my order because, why not? I was not disappointed. Excellent food and drinks and I highly recommend Kriner's Burgers & Pies for anyone looking for a solid American meal.
Holy moly this place is expensive for a burger. The food is good don't get me wrong but almost 20 dollars for a burger is sobering to say the least. The customer service is good and they were nice and quick to fix a small mistake to the order.
If you love cream pies, this may be your place because it's all they have - and they are so-so (-1 star) But any place that has "Pies" in its name needs some nut or fruit pie...at least one! (-1 star).Burgers look and smell great...next time Kriners.
Best burgers we’ve had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned on the amazing homemade buns, plus a great selection of toppings. Oh and can’t forget the most delicious honey mustard dipping sauce! Service was great too!
This was our first visit to Kriner’s Burgers…. It will not be our last. The food is absolutely amazing, the portions very filling and the prices perfect. It’s obviously a favorite place with the military as well because the place was full of military personnel. We enjoyed the Jim Burger and the Chicken Burger Deluxe and orders of jo-jo’s. So much to eat !!!!
A must go for that old fashioned burger and fries stop. You can build your own burger and pick different sides, also they serve pies too. Great place, food, service and price.
Best burger I’ve had in Anchorage, you get a sandwich that was made like the chef himself was going to eat it. Good value. I’ll be back.
This was my wife and Myself’s first time here. We ordered food to go (no issues here, greeted nicely but nobody was wearing masks). We waited for about 20 minutes (the cook Even apologized and was nice) and then about another 5 more with another apology for our shakes. We left, got home, and noticed my order wasn’t right and I did not receive my pie or tots. No biggie so called them and they said they will comp a pie and tots. Eating the burgers was ok until I found a black short and curly hair in my food. Then my wife found one in her burger too. The Shakes were good and the tots were nice but hair in our food is a no go. We wont be returning here just based on the fact of the hairs. They can keep the pie and tots I didn’t get.
