Amazing first IHOP experience. Servers provided a few coloring books to keep us occupied. Haven't got our food yet but we assume it'll be great. Either way we'd be happy.
This place went down hill. Two people in our party and resturant was nearly empty. The service was slow and our order took about 45 min to reach our table. No water was delivered to our table. They did advertise for positions to hire. Maybe that contributed but still it was nearly empty.
Went there about 0700 and there were 2 cooks working. Was told it was going to be a quite a wait and it wasn't even half full. Also as soon as we sat down no one even came to get our drink orders. We left after about 5 minutes of terrible service. Will not be returning any time soon.
The food was good, however, the customer service is for stray dogs. I spoke with the manager who was apologetic but the server....no good at all.
Terribly slow and busy. Waiters seem nice, but they are understaffed. Doordash order should have been ready on arrival but took longer than 20min. Not worth taking any more orders from this location.
Actually very good food at good prices. 3 times i was there so far, the service is good too. So far have not experienced anything negative.
Although the gentleman that sat us was very nice and funny, and the server/waitress was nice, the food was disappointing. They hardly put any hash browns on the plate, instead of the 2 eggs I only got 1 (I asked for another egg, and it was the same amount as what they gave me on the plate). There was food and trash on the floor. I felt more grossed out then anything after that. But hey, the pancakes were good!
I have trouble choosing between IHOP and Denny's. Usually it's a 50/50 call. So if you like either one, I'm sure you'll like the other. The difference is in how they make it and ingredients used. Maybe try both? My first pick was...?
Best IHOP in Anchorage honestly, and I've tried every location over the 3 years I stayed in town. They actually take care when cooking your food, which should be a given, but youd be surprised how many other locations will flat out burn your stuff and soak it in grease to a comical degree. Keep up the great work! And thanks so much for doing this work in the middle of a Pandemic! Food service workers are essential too.
So we waittedfor over 10 min to be seatted. I though it was because it was busy but it wasn't really busy like 4 tables. Then when seatted it was down hill from there. 2 min after getting a menu it was rushed to get our order. No hello, welcome, or any pleasantries. Then when we order it was all slammed on the table. I rarely don't give a tip but I had to on this one. I asked why she was in a bad mood. She just waved me off saying she is not the host. So I will never be eating at an IHOP again.
