Such a cute place. Really nice space inside, with a karaoke stage! And yummy sushi and veggie tempura. Felt reasonably priced. I really want to try out their lunch menu bento boxes.
Ordered to go - Got the rainbow roll and the sushi on top was cooked / pale color the avocado inside was black, the chicken combo dinner was chewy and not warm. Super disappointed would not recommend anyone here.
Ice tried a dozen of their rolls and they have always been delicious. Rice is never old or undercooked. The only "bad" thing I can say about them is that they don't deliver - not a big deal since I live and work within 5 mins!
I use to love this place! Today walked in on Christmas Eve, Eve with my husband. The lady glared at us both. We asked for a table she pointed and walked away. We sat at the table for 15 mins had to ask for our menus. She glared again. At this point another couple male and female walked in. They got seated with a smile and menus in hand. We’re now up to 20 mins. The same rude lady is giving them water and taking there order. We still have not been greeted or gotten water so we stand up and start to head out. They tried to stop us. This other straight couple had only been sitting for 3-5 mins. This is not the way you treat anyone! My husband is a first responder and felt like we were being targeted. We will never step foot back in there and actively protest it to anyone who asks. Merry Christmas everyone.
Me and my husband went today for a dinner. We were instantly met with a lady that had a face of distain and seemed a bit rude we shrugged it off. After waiting for about 15 mins with not even a menu or water we seen a couple male and female sit and she instantly smiled and said I will get you water and menus. Again I though wow we’ve been here 15 mins and not even a single menu yet in sight. After about 20mins and the same lady began taking their order! I looked at my now shocked husband and said we are leaving. Upon our exit the other lady quite nice said excuse me why you leave? We told her what happened and she couldn’t have and answer I just said you need to talk to that lady. We left just disappointed in the service that they provided and not to mention not once made us feel comfortable there. I would not recommend this place. I gave them 1 star cause I had to in order to let people know.
Gal ordered California rolls with sesame seeds on door dash. When order arrived, it was crunch rolls. Called back to let them know wrong order came. Called them again to let them know cali with tobiko arrived, can’t have that then got hung up on. Called again to let them know wrong order given then got hung up on. Third time was a charm on finally getting a couple cali w/sesame seeds. Ugh. Not recommending if you’re in a time crunch.

Delish food! The avocado gratin was warm and smooth, very fulfilling.
Yesterday was my mom & I’s first time eating at I Luv Sushi. I had won a $20 gift certificate off of iHeart Radio approximately 1-2 years ago & asked the waitress if it would be honored as there was no expiration date or change of business name listed. The owner did not honor it saying they stopped taking them them a while ago, but to me that meant they should have put an exportation date on the certificate as I had never been here before. So that was the first bummer, but we decided to try the restaurant anyways as we are from Wasilla. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura and my mom ordered the spider roll.We have eaten a lot of sushi/oriental food & do not consider ourselves to be picky eaters. The waitress was nice but my mom asked three times if the roll was indeed deep fried & she stated it was & my mom even went into further clarification saying it didn’t say it on the menu, the waitress insisted it was . But, there was a misunderstanding and the roll was not deep fried at all.The food was a 1/5 as it was very bland and honestly just didn’t taste seasoned at all. I didn’t like the soy sauce or the rice — which are two of the simplest things. Ultimately, the environment was nice along with the staff, it’s just the food was less than appetizing and we didn’t even finish our meals. It was definitely disappointing to say the least & I will not be returning. I typically don’t write reviews, but this place was a let down.
