I love the atmosphere in this place. I arrived in between meals, and it felt like sitting in a family home, very cozy and friendly. The food is excellent, and at a VERY great value. The flavor of the pork and chicken were on point, and it goes so well with the rice and Mac salad. There are several poke options as well, and the spicy ahi was so delicious and well balanced. I wish I had known about this place sooner, and will definitely be back!
You ever have trouble trying other places, because your "goto" spot is just too good. This is how I feel about Hula Hands whenever I'm in the area.Get the Spam Masubi, Kalua Pig and then get a side of Pulehu Chicken too. Food also holds up as a 2am snack.
Saved by the hula hands for our hunger pangs. We ordered the pork Lau Lau, chicken katsu and spam musubi's the fried rice and the spicy tuna poki. I love my some pork Lau Lau and they didn't disappoint, came with rice and macaroni salad which seems to be the norm in the U.S. the musubi's where kind of plain and too much rice per protein for my liking. The fried rice was a healthy portion of food that we were able to take plenty to go. The tuna was with too much onion for my tastes. The staff seemed pleasant and I'd certainly go back for the pork Lau Lau!

LOVED THIS PLACE!! We didn't eat inside but....Best teriyaki beef on a stick I've ever had! The Palehu chicken and Kalbi beef combo was DELICIOUS! The pulled pork was dull but all it would take is a little sauce to fix that. My wife and I ate like monarchs for $35!! One piece of advice though...ask for extra teriyaki sauce!!

Amazing!!! Great food and friendly staff, clean location. Chicken katsu, shredded pork and beef teriyaki and the macaroni and rice all absolutely fantastic. Great portion sizes for the money, awesome quality for the price. Definitely coming back, highly recommend.
Could use a little more flavor.lacking a bit from the last I visited. Asked for extra onions and gravy did not get either. The meat was a little dry. May it was a bad day it happens

I always forget to take pictures because I usually eat all the food as soon as I get it! The Lapulu Wrap is my absolute favorite! If you like earthy flavors, you gotta try it! I almost always get the Lapulu plate & an extra wrap for later! ?
