Good, hardy sandwiches for $12 before add-ons. They open at 7am (closed Sunday), so it makes for a great stop before a road trip as flavor outside of Anchorage can be lacking. Would recommend.

I got lunch from here and I'm sad to say that I won't be returning.First, a bunch of the lettuce in my salad was wilted and slimy (before adding the dressing), so that got tossed out. Then my sandwich was almost to eat as a sandwich. The bottom slice was significantly smaller than the rest of the sandwich. I ended up having to eat it with a knife and fork. Which isn't the worst but it is inconvenient.
The Sunrise Breakfast Sandwiches are a winner with our employees for our Quarterly Office Meetings (9a-12p)....when given the choice between lunch or breakfast our team always chooses the breakfast sandwiches! Great Job House of Bread!
Welp I ordered lunch delivery today through UberEats from House of Bread today... Ordered a loaf of Sourdough to take home... got home to slice the bread and turns out there was hair literally baked into the bread. I would have written it off as mine except it wasn't the same color and I could lift the piece of bread by just pulling the hair. It was fully baked into the loaf.
