We booked here for our anniversary trip to Alaska both before and after our trip to Fairbanks. When we returned for our second set of nights we requested the side of the building away from the trains. Even though the hotel was booked Sane worked really hard to accommodate this request and ended up getting us into a room we loved. Her positive attitude in helping is really stood out. In the breakfast room Alma and the staff were friendly, and attentive. We really enjoyed every morning breakfast.

I travel for work and this room was booked by company. Normally our accommodations are better than this by far it was sub standard at best. The rooms are definitely dated they a need a fresh coat of paint and new amenities. They don’t have refrigerators or microwaves. Receptionist staff was not the nicest nor accommodating. I had to switch room due to my view being obstructed by cement wall. In addition to room being less than tidy. I definitely don’t think 3.5 stars in anyway reflect the hotel stay overall. I would certainly give it a 2. Hilton usually does better this is certainly not one of the most reputable places I would chose to stay.

Let me start with the positives...The location is great. Everything downtown was walkable and very convenient. Hotel is located near lots of restaurants and even a museum. The staff are the real standouts here - notably Chun Lee, Toavagha Antonia and Nora Fang. Every request was granted with a smile and they all made great suggestions and actually made me feel welcomed. The rooms were kept extremely clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. Now, the not so great. The hotel is extremely worn and dated. While my room was quite large, there were plenty of dings and scrapes on furniture and the doors. The shades did not block out the 19 hours of sunlight that was ever present during my stay in May. The AC unit prevents the drapes from being long enough at the bottom nor were they really wide enough, so it was difficult to sleep. And I'm not sure what was going on with the AC either. My room was very warm because of the sun all day and into the night, it never really cooled off to my liking. It really a good stay, but it had everything to do with the people rather than the accommodations.

Not only is everything broken and rundown, but I have never seen a staff that has no idea what the word hospitality means. I have stayed hundreds of times with Hilton and have amassed lifetime diamond status and I have never been to a worse Hilton hotel. It’s not even close. I really believe they need to close this hotel or remove the Hilton name. I blame myself for not reading other reviews. Place is garbage - do not stay here.

I stay with Hilton a tremendous amount, in the neighborhood of 100 nights a year. This property is dated and it shows. The rooms are old, kinda musty and all around in a need of a facelift. The beds are comfortable and the staff was accommodating. The fitness room here does stand out; it has one of the best views of any fitness room I've been in with Hilton, as well as having a nice selection of equipment. Everything else at this property was exceptionally average; next time I'll be staying at a different property in the area.

The hotel is missing what I consider some of the most basic amenities. My room is small, with no mini -fridge or microwave. There is one washer and dryer unit for the entire hotel. Additionally, the water temperature goes from freezing to scolding with the slightest adjustment. I will never stay here again unless work trips require me to return.

The property has seen better days.Check-in was less than stellar as the clerk appeared to be confused, probably new.The room was nice, bed comfortable and the bathroom appeared updated.Breakfast was pretty good, buffet only. Service in the buffet was great.

Save your money and find a room somewhere else. Although the staff is very polite and friendly, I would've rather taken my chances with the Ramada. There weren't any issues with making the reservation over the phone, but they didn't tell us about the $50 deposit until I was at the front desk. The manager-in-training asked about our visit and changed our room to give us a view of the fireworks. Really appreciated that. But for $250/night, we got a small room with 2 full sized beds crammed in it. The shower was nice but a little touchy with the temp control. They have a $15/night reserved parking area, but good luck getting a spot because there's not that many. For breakfast, it was either $21 for their "continental" breakfast or $25 for the breakfast buffet. The scrambled eggs from the buffet were ok if you didn't feel like paying 21 bucks for a small bowl of cereal and a slice of meat.Overall, our stay was alright; I just didn't feel like it was worth all I had to pay for it.Oh! If you're a fan of the molten lava desert from chili's, don't get it from there; just make the drive to chili's. The "cake" was a puck of extra rich chocolate, not warmed up. The ice cream was good, though.

Love the Hilton and staff! Friendly and helpful staff will open doors and check you in with a smile. The rooms are what to expect for 3 stars but they are very clean, wonderful bed and topper, comfortable pillows and sheets. Quiet rooms and I did not hear hotel traffic and I was by the elevator. Great views for Fur Rondy fireworks ?

Location I'd ideally the best to walking ti the mall and restaurants. I will say the rooms can be updated. It's definitely a difference between the two towers. The rooms were pretty much the same but one tower to the left of checkin had a more remodeled bathroom. The tower to the right needs the most work. Short stay approved but nothing long term at all. Also the water was cold day 2 of my 3 day stay
