Yet again, HQG never disappoints. For starters, the salmon dip was wonderful. The blackened chicken gnocci was excellent, the chicken fork tender and juicy; catch of the day was the halibut with strawberry salsa, the halibut was perfectly cooked and all the flavors complimentary. Jerome served us with good humor and attentiveness. We're already planning our next visit and what to try then. Thank you chef, and staff, for making this a great place to eat and indulge. *MUAH*

We always try to visit some Triple D locations when travelling - we didn't know when we'd arrive in Anchorage, so didn't make a reservation (BIG mistake), but found a spot in the bar ... we happily shared a table for six with another couple. Service was slow - but our waiter was super - knew the menu well, and was as attentive as he could be given how short staffed they were. The spicy chicken gnocci and the blue cheese salad followed up by DDD's recommendation of the peanut butter pie. All was delicious. The chicken in the gnocchi was spiced perfectly and oh so tender. Would definitely come back, make a reservation and arrive MUCH hungrier!

Food was very good. Had 10 minute wait for reserved table. A bit noisy and service was just adequate. A worthy place.

First time visit for four of us as weâre in Anchorage for a few days. Food was very good. Two had the salmon specials and two had âhouse favoritesâ. While our food was very good service was average. The bar was way behind and we waited considerable time for cocktails. Our server was pleasant, but seemed to encourage us to âhurry upââ¦. We get that you need to turn tables, but if weâre dropping $100 bucks a couple let us enjoy the cocktail. Ambiance was ok. Price point ok based only on the quality of food, but service level was not there. Sorry, but we came away with a big âokâ. Probably wouldnât be our first choice for a $$$ restaurant.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant. The service and the entrees we ordered were excellent. The Kabob entree was smaller than I anticipated, but it was delicious. We shared my birthday dessert, peanut butter pie, and the texture was so smooth and tasty. We will visit there again.
We enjoyed our dinner. The food was excellent! The service was rushed. We received entrees before we finished with appetizers. Even though I noted on the reservation that we were celebrating my husband birthday no acknowledgement was made.
Great food, excellent service. Can be a bit noisy if you are near the bar. Cocktail menu is pretty solid and has some great drinks. Great beer selection as well.
