Gwennies is close to the airport and very popular with locals as well as tourists. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is good and our breakfast selections (eggs, Belgium waffle with strawberries) were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great atmosphere, service - local vibes…. Good eggs any way, excellent Home Fries aka FRESH skillet hash browns…. but I’m reviewing to talk about this bacon and the Crab Benedict…. Yum! Come hungry - our party of four no one finished their plate!
Be prepared for large portions. I ordered a side of reindeer sausage and didn't have room to finish it. Food is just what I needed, comfort food. I won't need to eat again until supper. Great Denver omelette. Good service.

We were on our way to the airport coming in tired and hungry. Stopped in and were not sure what to expect. It was the best food and service we had during our two week stay in Alaska….Homer and Seward. The food was excellent and the waitress was friendly and efficient. When we come back to Anchorage…we will definitely be back.
