Bought five dozen for the office. I was in and out in less than five minutes, the price was very fair, and the service was with a smile. What else could I ask for? If you need donuts in Anchorage, Golden Donuts is the place to go.

Delicious old school bakery with a traditional selection of donuts. Stopped in before church and was not disappointed
Took years to make it in here but finally had a chance early on a weekday -- well worth it! Not the biggest selection of donuts I've seen in a place this size, but plenty of variety for most people and they all looked great. I went for glazed old fashioned and Boston cream; both were delicious and an extra one ended up in the bag for no apparent reason - woohoo! Quick service on coffee drinks as well; my cafe mocha was creamy and delicious.
Such a delicious break in the day (you MUST stop the gotta-do and ya-can't and don't-do-it voices in your head!). Love those apple fritters -- and if they run out, there are the cherry fritters. Other faves; Boston cream filling, raspberry filling. Crullers! Old Fashioneds, even with chocolate icing. You'll satisfy that sweet tooth (remember to quell the "voices", tho).

Our favorite Saturday morning stop for great biscuits & gravy, doughnuts & coffee. The (cream filled) chocolate triangles are with the drive, even if you'd staying in Girdwood! ?
