Love the colorful decor of this place! The food is excellent and service was prompt. Great meal all around!Vegetarian options: So happy to see vegetarian options. Our daughter now has another restaurant she can dine at!
Use to get sour cream, guacamole with dinners. Fajitas were pretty unflavoredand burnt. Server was good though. Sorry Gallos.
We had the tamales and Ceasar salad with chicken. Both meals were delicious. Service was excellent. Margaritas were spot on!
Well, this was a sad first try.Today I went with my family. There were lots of people there so we expected the service to be slow. We sat down and got waters and chips/salsa almost instantly, which is great. After that, the server asked us if we wanted any other drinks, so we ordered it and didnt see him again for 15+ mins. Oh well, it's busy.We eventually got our meals after waiting quite a while, and everyones food seemed nice, except mine. I ordered a chicken chimichunga and got beef. I wasnt upset that they messed it up, because it happens. Oh well.I ended up getting another one, very hot chicken chimichunga. I love it. Besides the fact that every bite had a bone or two in it. Not the small chewy joints, literally a full size bone in the chimichunga. I kept eating it expecting it to be just the one messup, but there were bones all in it with every bite.I eventually got the server again and told him about it. The response I got was interesting. "It's chicken, so it'll have bones in it." I should've made his caveman self eat this bone chimichunga and see how normal it was. He stopped himself at that and said he'll take it off the bill which was nice. Yes we tipped him 15% but jesus think before you give someone a unintelligent response like that.On the bright side, the titos punch was good. And the other food was good as well.
Fantastic food! Fantastic staff. 1st are here 17 years ago and after being gone for a decade food and atmosphere haven't changed. My favorite spot!
Tried it for midday lunch but was sadly disappointed. Service was slack and the food was bland. Got the bill and discovered menu prices reflect cash payments only; if you're paying by card it's another 50 cents. Not a huge strain on the wallet but it would've been nice to know this beforehand. Just seemed like a tacky way for the restaurant to suck a few more pennies once you're already roped in for payment. Not going here again.
I attended a graduation celebration event in the top floor of the building. Staff frequently came around with water and chips while waiting on food. When the food was ready, we lined up and had a choice of chicken/beef fajitas, cheese enchiladas, rice, and beans, all of which were good quality. Overall, great food and excellent service. I recommend this place for any large group events.
Never disappoint always the same energy when we go here. Great ?
After trying their salsa the hot one. I buy salsa from them now. I come from San Antonio, Texas and it's hard to find good salsa. To the restaurant thankyou. The food was good I enjoyed the atmosphere of the interior. They also have mangonadas which is my favorite alcoholic drink from the south. Did not try it but I will next time.
From San Diego. Tastes are so different. Salsa was watery. Chips were hard as a rock. Food wes okay at least. Service fast.
