There’s plenty of places to get treats and yummy fresh things in Anchorage, but literally nothing compares to Fire Island Bakery. Try their Ham and Swiss Croissant and you’ll think you’re in Europe. Their muffins and cookies are amazing as well. They even have breakfast sandwiches. If you’re in Anchorage, you have to stop by.
Ridiculously good. Staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Great coffee. Great pastries. Don’t question it. Come here and dump your bank account on amazing treats.

So excited they are back open! The cupcake I got was delicious! My friend got a black bean sandwich that I can’t wait to go back and get one all to myself!
We stop by every time we are in town. Wonderful pastries, muffins, breakfast sandwiches. Nice outdoor seating in summertime, two dog-friendly tables to the west.
Their foccia is next level awesome and their chocolate chip cookies are absolutely made for dunking.
Everything is delicious; each kind of sourdough varietal, each flavor Macron, all the cakes and sandwiches! Been in Anchorage for a week and have gone back to this bakery multiple times. We have 3 more days in Anchorage so probably 3 more trips to this bakery.
