Delicious food and amazing service! The lady at the counter is omega friendly and I love how they also ask if you have any allergies or any kind of diet concerns. Not to mention the empathy they showed towards our little when she was freaking out over a bee.Clean food, delicious and huge servings. Get the brisket!!
Fresh, delicious and great service with a smile! It’s expensive, yes, but worth what you pay! We usually get the salmon or halibut burrito. I’ve also had the pork tacos but prefer the fish. The black bean sauce is crazy yummy and I always order an extra side of the sauce. It’s better on top or on the side instead of inside where I find it gets lost with all the other wonderful fillings, but try it a few different ways until you find your sweet spot. They are flexible. I absolutely love to see this cart open and get sad when it closes for the winter.

Fabulous tacos, nice staff. We found this place just by accident but loved what we got. Southern taco with pulled pork was excellent, Street taco with chicken was very good too. It's obviously a popular place so except to wait in a line for a moment. Worth to see and to eat there. Highly recommend!
Great food with limited seating.
I love this place and wish I had went back a few more times while I was in Anchorage. They can make pretty much anything vegan! I had the burrito and it was huge, full of delicious tofu. The staff were super friendly too.
We wandered by this place with the aromas wafting from the smoker and said, let's try it and SO glad we did. The street tacos were very flavorful. We had both the pork and beef were great.
Highly recommend. After we rented bikes on our first day in Anchorage we wanted something to eat. With an hour and a half wait and one place we stood outside debating what to do when a local said you need to try El Green Gos and took us over there (she was heading over herself) oh my goodness what a delight! When we planned our trip to Alaska we did not expect to find this little gem! Friendly service and the BEST food! We promptly texted a photo our friends who we had travelled with a picture of our food and the address so they could head over. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was very fresh and tasty. Great home made sauces, crunchy veggies (salad items). It was beautiful. A week later heading back to the airport after our Alaska trip we stopped in again for lunch and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We had an amazing Alaska adventure when we get home to Michigan and reminisce we will remember this meal.
staying at hotel up the street and looking for something good to eat one evening...hotels restaurants all had 1 hour plus wait. walked out the door and followed my nose. At the end of 4th street... great food great price gets a cold one if Ya wants or an iced tea. I had the fish tacos made with halibut Highly recommend this place when in ANC
I was highly skeptical of this place and only went there because my kid was hungry and nearby 'restaurants had 1+ hour waiting time (!) But I loved our experience - the food is one of the tastiest I've ever tried; waiting time was reasonable and pricing is ok as for Alaska. Overall, I highly recommend this 'truck' as your eating place while seeing the downtown
