Very nice, clean store and the customer service was wonderful... very helpful and personable staff.
I have been a customer of Safeway for 40 years at other locations. This location sucks! 3 years ago I moved into the neighborhood and was grateful to see there is a Carr's Safeway close by. The first time I shopped here noticed they were out of many items. After 3 years, I have had it. Today I went to the store to pickup 2 items. They were out of stock on both. Me and my wife shop at the Carr's on Northern Lights Blvd usually because they have the stock we buy. Thousands of dollars worth of business taken to a different store because of the mismanaged way this store is stocked.
No matter the new renovations, it still look abd feels ran down and just gross to be in.Do NOT get me started about CRACK CARRS on Gamble! ??
This particular Carrs is located near my home but I will be shopping elsewhere after seeing the condition of their produce today. If the store manager had their departments checked then maybe customers wouldn’t see this.
Well stocked grocery store (that used to be local but is now owned by safeway). Is open late, until 1:00 a.m. at some locations. Hoping that they will get there 24 hours stores back eventually.
Actually a pretty solid store. I don't say that about grocery stores very often. Never feels crowded, and for me, that's the worst part about going to the grocery store. It has just enough of a selection to have what I need week to week, and it's close enough for me to ride my bike there.
Not the greatest selection. But great customer service. Kinda steaper prices though. Would go to cheaper stores. But they are also open later and customer service is pretty good there
Great options to shop. Good food at the deli not a fan of the Asian food they sell. The prices are sometimes to high the 5$ Friday makes up for that. There are some good deals. Easy parking quick grab and go like a gas station. Mostly why I chose to stop here. I do personally prefer doing my main shopping at Fred Meyer. When I need something I forgot like meats or sweets this is a good place. They do have a nice meat selection.
Nice community atmosphere at this store! They have a pretty good selection and I’ve always had good luck shopping here. The only negative thing I have to say is going later in the day, or right before they close, can be time consuming when checking out, due to there only being one cashier. This store does close an hour earlier then the other Carrs stores, which is a bummer.Overall a great store, knowledgeable staff, and good selection.
I do not like Carrs. I feel like they rack up their prices and the same stuff that others stores have at a much cheaper price point.Their sales can be good. But the selection is scarce. Also it being the "luxary" grocery experience in town, I feel it lacks in that category. The increase in price (traditionally) of the higher end stores is supposed to translate to higher end services and shelves. But you will not get that at any Alaska Carrs I have ever been in.Prices are high. Staff numbers are low. Wait times are so bad I wouldn't risk trying to buy anything frozen from them. It's not as clean as fred Meyers or Walmart and it's supposed to be the better trip.I honestly just don't know what service they are providing at this point except the deli. 2 stars instead of the one only because of their deli. There deli as a stand alone spot, I'd probably be a regular.
