Overpriced meat cuts are to small. All items in the store are over priced! I will not shop there again.. Price & cost of all items in the store are higher then other stores i've seen in Anchorage and there selection of items are limited. On a good note love there bakery yummy!

I'm from out of state. Went to get some beer and mistakenly opened the freezer door and the person working inside told me to get out, said get out now, I asked where the beer was and he just chased me out. I found the beer in the store fridge. There is no need to treat customers with disrespect, I'm 65 and found his adittude unwarranted. I found the employees only sign after the fact along with othere advertisements.Other stores allow you into these areas.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Carrs had a good selection of goods. We buy non diary foods and found the selection well stocked. Interestingly they are part of the Safeway & Albertsons grocery group, so I even was able to get the in store discount.

They had everything we needed for our extended stay, and most off the people were very friendly.

Lots of sketchy people in the parking lot but not a big deal. After using the ATM I was immediately confronted by another customer trying to fight and asking where I was from. I tried to be friendly but he continued to harass me to the point he was obviously trying to start an altercation. I immediately left without purchasing anything. The staff was friendly though.

Overall I love Carrs and thank God those prices are finally dropping, we live in the hood prices should be cheaper not more expensive, great customer service and friendly staff thanks guys for years of service.

Been going here for the past 4 years since working in the area. I'd only go early mornings and if I have to right after work. In, out and gone. People often fly through the parking lot like it's a race track, druggies and homeless crawl all around the outside of the building during the day and late at night. The upgraded security keeps them away, but only for some time before they come back and it repeats. Someone's always stealing and running out the door.Staff members are quite nice, and I see the usual faces. Products are decent, I have found some items that were more than 2 years old on the shelf before, haven't so lately.Located in a rough neighbor hood, but people live here and it's home to some, so it is what it is.

It has its momentsbut still it's Carrs that meansYou watch your Own BackHere even Close friendsTurn on YouGirlfriends turn into something else but it all depends who you chill with

This Carrs doesn't deserve 5 stores at all, it's a ses pool, full of Anchorages finest. There are ways to be homeless, there is no dignity. However the 5 stars are for the employees still sticking it out in that hell hole. They always stay professional, maybe not with great big smiles but they are never rude.

This Carrs grocery store is in the fairview area which is really not the most comfortable or product availability at this location. But it still has the quality brand products and groceries but the customer service is a bit more rash I believe due to the location so I suggest a different located Carrs.
