A grilled cheese focused restaurant. My wife had the french dip and really loved the roll, and commented on the flavor of the sandwich. The french dip came with potato chips. I had the Reindeer Games grilled cheese with reindeer sausage, pesto, green pepper and bacon. It was a hearty grilled cheese. My daughter had the Big Dill grilled cheese with pickles and cheddar. An interesting flavor combo. My son had the OG, a standard cheddar/sharp cheddar grilled cheese. Each of the grilled cheese come with a small bowl of an excellent tomato basil bisque for dipping. We tried the chili, kind of standard except for the Reindeer sausage on it. The Hungarian Mushroom was very dilly. The tomato was the standout for the soups. We hear the beer cheese and bread appetizer. Yummy flat bread, and plenty of the beer cheese, enough to do tots in after the bread was gone.
Over priced and the quality had gone drastically down over the years. Haven’t been in a looooooongggg time and would NEVER go back.
I love bread and brew- they always have great local beers on tap and their grilled cheese is the best in town. My go to is the Hello Basil add chicken with a big tomato basil soup. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating and their menu has tons of options that are friendly for dietary restrictions. My go to sandwich shop!
A little wait, but food was DELICIOUS! My son had the original grilled cheese with fries, while I had the jalepeno popper grilled cheese. Tomato soup dipper was also delicious.
So , want the best toasted sandwich , soup and a great beer Well it’s here ! . This is the place . Pick up a menu at the front door , try the tomato soup and toasted ham and cheese sandwich with an IPA ! Really great food , good prices and it’s local Note - it’s not a pub so think sandwich place that serves beer with sports TV’s ! Just go !
This is a delightful spot. I always gravitate toward the grilled cheese but the other menu options are excellent as well. They have a good beer selection and wine selection. The quality and service are consistently top notch and it makes a great casual lunch or dinner spot. If I had to say one critique is that their beer and wine list is on the small side compared to similar restaurants in the city. Their outdoor seating is great as well, they have some outdoor fires to have a beer, cocktail or glass of wine next to.
Great food! Mac n cheese was addicting!! Forgot to take a pic of the mac n cheese though. Nice staff, but just a tad bit slow.
The owner of this place Craig is a misogynistic and emotionally abusive to his employees, AVOID
I have been here 3 times and can’t have gluten, they were very helpful, friendly and my pizza was great! I love coming here.
So, this is a difficult one. My son was in the hospital for a weekend and we visited Bread and Brew and had an amazing experience.Circle back to today. My wife and I decided to visit today. The following image is a $14.00 sandwich. I'm sorry, but, three slices of ham on bread is, not where we were two years ago. I can spend $14.00 and 10 minutes at home. I feel some corners are getting cut. My wife even says the quality of their soups has gone noticibly down.Sorry, but things have changed, but not for the better...I recommend visiting Great Harvest Bread Co for those seeking an amazing sandwich at reasonable prices. They're phenomenal!
