From the moment we entered it was great. Birthday dinner for my granddaughter and first time visit for my great grandson. He loved it. Our chef was fantastic. I live this restaurant
Visiting grandparents. Aiisha was our excellent server & Akeem our talented chef. The food was very delicious & entertaining preparation as well. Itâs our grandchildrenâs favorite restaurant in Anchorage!
Sheridan(sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was our chef for the evening. We were the very last table on the night of July 31st. Thank you for an amazing dinner your great sense of humor and just donât right enjoyable meal! The food was by far the best we have had at this Benihanaâs location!! Give him a raise!!!!
We didn't have any shows, the cook was super quiet and the food didn't taste the same. My experience wasn't good, He does not know how to cook
It was a good experience, the chef put on a good show, and the waitress was very attentive to us. Would recommend at least once going once for the experience. Worth the money spent, food was good.
Love Benihana, this particular visit I was not impressed with our chef.
Server was definitely on drugs and completely ruined the whole nights experience. The only saving grace was the amazing chef he did everything in his power to make our night better.
Good was amazing, as always. Server was nowhere to be found. We could never get refills, boxes, or our check. We never got salads and waited for about 30 minutes past our reservation time. We were given complimentary california rolls for the wait though! I will be back, it just might be awhile!
Far too little chefs and servers to the amount of customers they sat on a Saturday evening. Table booked for 7.15pm, got sat at 7.30pm, got first drink delivered at 8.30pm, and soup delivered at 8.45pm. Chef Bradley finally came to our table at 9pm, and he was excellent. Food was tasty and plentiful. Cocktails were tasty but with only one bartender on to serve a totally full restaurant we didn't bother to order a second. Server was spaced out/rushed off their feet and kept forgetting items we'd asked for. All in all we were sat for 3hrs. We had fun and will return but will be trying for a less busy time so we can fully enjoy the experience.
We waited 20-30 minutes AFTER we were seated to be treated by our waitress. My poor kiddos were so thirsty they just wanted some water. By the time that she came we were ready to order because it had been that long. We had to repeat our order several times and were told that she couldnât do an accommodation of extra sauce even though we have done it several times with zero problems. She doubled our sushi order, she didnât even put my daughters order on the ticket. So that flustered our chef as he was scrambling trying to get our orders corrected. My friends order was put in wrong even though we had repeated the order several times. My husbandâs soup was cleared before he was finished. Our server asked how to split the check and we had to get that corrected because it was incorrect and would not listen to us try to explain it. We also did not get to have the ice cream that should have been included. We were essentially dismissed by our server. My kids were disappointed as they always look forward to ice cream from Benihana. Honestly this is the worst service Iâve ever experienced at Benihana.
