So dinner near the Captain Cook Hotel is sometimes tough to find. Arctic Sushi looks like a dive and my table was sticky. That being said the service is fast and the salmon “box” dinner was very tasty and plenty for two people to split.

Would give 0 star if I could! Ordered 3 ramen (which made out Xin Ra Men I think) and got charged $70 (no clue that they actually charged 20% mandatory gratitude and the receipt STILL listed the tip line and I ended up paying extra as I just couldn’t wait to get out of that place!Avoid this place in anchorage!!!

Found the sushi to be good - ordered Crunch Roll. Service is pretty good. Empty when we got here but other guests started to fill in. Edit: mandate 20% gratuity with no thought to party size - usually 6+? Tables have a coating on them that is kind of “sticky” but seems to be material it is coated in, not sure. Was informed by my spouse that sushi isn’t exactly fresh - tuna was microwaved before added to sushi to defrost it quickly…

should’ve checked the reviews. everything was crazy expensive. paid $20 for INSTANT NOODLES. and trust me i eat instant noodles as a snack. i know them when i see(and taste) them. never felt more scammed. we would literally have lost more if we were robbed?? would give it a zero

Random stop for lunch at this cozy corner sushi place. We had variety of sushi, donburi and ramen. All dishes were fresh and great. Sake was light, smooth and fragrant. The only thing that I disliked was the rolls kept falling apart when dipping or the sushi/rice came loose so I had to use my hands.

Food is good but watch your bill. They add on 20% tip without asking. Confront them and they take it off.Food is pricier than Benihana.

We were hungry tourists on a Monday night. Many restaurants were closed, and some open ones required reservations. Fortunately, we spotted an "open" sign at Arctic Sushi and were glad that we did. We got prompt service and food that was perfectly OK.

I tried Arctic Sushi for the first time and let me tell you what if I could do 0 stars I would. I went into the restaurant and there was no one else even there and it took the man working there 10 + minutes to even ask what I wanted to order. Even when he asked what I wanted to order he didn’t even come to me, he yelled it across the restaurant. I was feeling hungry so I ordered the spicy tuna roll(which is my go to sushi roll and try and find the best one.) and a order of shrimp fried rice. The spicy tuna was the worst spicy tuna roll I have ever had, the tuna inside was literally still frozen almost as if he just pulled it out of the freezer and warmed it up a bit. Then 4 minutes later my shrimp fried rice shows up and it had 6 small shrimp in it and the tasted rotten. The fried rice was very bland and didn’t have much flavor at all. I definitely won’t be going back there anytime soon. The prices are crazy too.

We stopped in after just getting into Anchorage from a long travel day. I think anything would have been good, honestly. I did have higher hopes for the food here. I was "ok". I think it had just opened for the afternoon but we had dried soy sauce pasted on our menus and some of the soy sauce was still wet.We ordered the salmon chowder, miso soup, shrimp tempura, and a little salad. Again, it was just ok.

Alkeetna roll and reindeer bibimbap. Standard Asian take out definitely not worth $42 for both.
