Consistent classic. Idk why Applebee’s gets any hate: I think it’s fantastic, especially this location! My favorite things are the neighborhood nachos and the boneless wings (chicken nuggets lol). Just tried the blackened shrimp caesar and was pleasantly impressed. Great spot to go with fam and friends.
A friend and I enjoyed a dinner here one evening during our first trip to Alaska. The food is typical of other Applebee's Restaurants, so we knew what to expect. The service was very good. The food tasted good. The dining area was fairly clean. Our server did a good job making sure things were right with our meal and replenishing our beverages.
So here we go, me and my wife probably haven't eaten here in a few years and man can I say its different now... not for the good either, i happen to be a local restaurant manager and i am far beyond disappointed, first off somehow we happened to get sat at the most sticky table in the history of sticky tables, and by what i mean is our glasses would stick to the table, secondly is there no proper work uniform? Also did you guys run out of paper because our server seemed to misplace hers? she wrote our order down on her hand, really a hands down different experience, also i understand that it is 2022 and smartphones are bigger then ever but at least have the common courtesy to get on it somewhere out of sight, there were at least 5 of you on your phones AT THE SAME TIME. i would have complained to a manager but its clear that they really couldn't care either way as they participated in this mess. good luck, we will not come back, the only good thing about this experience was our server kayla, she deserves a job somewhere better then to work with this staff. killed it and was very kind, and the food was alright.
Just ordered food and oh my goodness something is so different. The mashed potatoes were very yellow and waxy not as good as before. My kids food order was wrong and the soft tortilla chicken Taco was almost black all the way around. Not worth 47.00.
Turbo lived up to his name! You can't tell they are so shorthanded, with a full restaurant and minimal servers and he was hustling , keeping waits to a minimum! I've always enjoyed eating here but Turbo and Kevin are the best of the best!!
Wow, what an impressive crew! We landed around 9PM in Anchorage and by the time we got dropped off at out B&B it was almost 10. We were looking for a place open late and found Applebee's. The place was PACKED!! I don't know why no one else was open, because clearly there's a demand for late night eats, but we were glad they were. We sat at the bar and Kim was the sole bar tender, for the WHOLE place! And when I say packed,,,,I don't know if there was any open tables, and the bar was full. This crew hustled! Every server was hoppin',, everyone was helping everywhere, & they were all so pleasant. Surprisingly, our food came out quickly, it was hot, and delicious. Kim not only had the bar covered (where everyone was also ordering dinner) but made drinks for the whole place, was running food to tables on the floor, taking orders on the floor, and bussing when needed. I didn't see 1 person waiting for drinks or looking like they weren't being tended to. I don't know who the manager is at this place, but your crew was outstanding on the night we dropped in. (May 11th 11PM if that helps) keep up the good work!
We had a big party of 12 people and dropped in around 9pm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would certainly recommend going back. I would say it was my best experience at any Applebee's I have ever had. Thank you! The food was good and items came out hot and nobody was forgotten. Great job!
I have been coming to Applebees on Tudor and C St. consistently since 2010. Out of the many managers I have encountered here at Applebee’s I have really liked Billy (William) these past few years I have seen him. I can tell he is a great leader and knows how to run and guide his crew. He is great to his customers and does what he can to make the dining experience A+. I always look forward to coming in to dine and assured I won’t be disappointed. Keep up the great work Billy!
Man I travel all the time for work and try to stay away from chains, I can honestly say I was humbled tonight. Bartender Wyatt, the manager (great dude) not sure his name we’re so amazing! Everyone working there was unique and fun! They treated everyone like family especially their own! The relationships I observed amongst the workers was special and was a huge breath of fresh air! Great work guys!
My first visit to Alaska… being vegetarian, I wanted to find something familiar. Applebees in Anchorage was awesome!! Chips and salsa tasted uniquely different… seasoned waffle fries, beer cheese and Impossible Burger were just incredible. Thanks for the great service Turbo!
