In the past I would have gave this lounge a 5 star review. But with the recent policy change of military members “having to be in uniform” while traveling to access this lounge I’ll give it a 1 just so it will let me post this review but would give it a 0 if possible. To put things simply, the Marines abide by the official Marine Corps policy (updated in 2007, ALMARS 035/07) which states that we will not wear our COMBAT utility uniform outside of base unlike the other branches of service. However, when I stated that and pulled up the Marine Corps order showing that we are not allowed to do so, I was still denied access and was told to go put on my dress uniform that I had in hand (in a garment bag) or cammies which were in checked baggage. I’ve been to this lounge atleast once monthly for 2 years and have never once been treated so rudely or denied access for something so simple.I was even told that they worked out there new policy with “military officials” but when I asked what military officials she refused to answer.

Only been once, but wouldn’t bother again. Far below one world standard for a lounge in general. One star for the decent beer selection, but then they charge for a lot of their drinks which is silly for a premium lounge. The staff is clueless on entry unless you’re flying business class and you have to argue for half an hour to get in despite being one world elite on an international ticket - not too mention they’re just rude. The food is really really bad. Like worse than old Taco Bell bad. It was also quite a mess when we went in - bad experience mainly based on staff, perhaps, but still wouldn’t really recommend unless maybe they’d begin to accept priority pass.

A very pleasant lounge that was uncrowded when we were there. The seating was comfortable and power was available for those who want to plug in.It looked like they had some nice light food options that we did not partake in, but I did enjoy an IPA from 49th State Brewery and my wife enjoyed a brut rosé.

Has fallen so far in the past few years. Removed priority pass access and this morning the bar was closed (no drinks) and the food offerings included some sad looking muffins, oatmeal and fruit. What’s the point of stopping in the lounge?

Everyone is super nice and helpful. The special coffee selection was delicious.

ENJOYING SOME DRINKS ? AT THE ALASKAN AIRPORT LOUNGE ANCHORAGE.On a long layover, it's definitely worth going to visit the Alaska Airline Lounge to enjoy some good drinks and snacks.

Would prefer to award zero stars if the option permitted. They go out of their way to deny entry to military personnel despite purporting to be welcoming to military guests on orders. As a card carrying Alaska Airlines member (of over 10 years) it is truly sickening the lack of service rendered when the lounge was nearly empty.

Great staff... good place to hang and watch the air traffic.

The staff is super friendly. They offer some decent but basic snack options. Eats and cheeses, maybe a hummus, chips. Alcohol was limited but it's free so take what you can get. The place needs a good cleaning. Most of the furniture looks very worn with many stains on them and the carpet. Reminds me of a low in local bar. I really did not want to sit on things but I did.
