Clean, convenient location.

I went to Starbucks today as I do often and the lack barista-cashier standing behind the white guy in this photo was super rude. I think he is a guy, I honestly couldn’t tell from the lip gloss, the hat and the flamboyant attitude. Forgive me if it’s a female. But, I went there today and visited the drive thru. I ordered a coffee because I was given a gift card for my birthday yesterday. I was adding the card to the Starbucks app that I downloaded in the drive thru. After I downloaded it and got to the window, I wasn’t sure how to get to the barcode in the app to scan and explained to the barista that I added a gift card that I got for my birthday but didn’t know how to use the app. The barista immediately became rude saying “well if you just added the card you don’t have any birthday rewards”. I said to the barista that I didn’t ask him:her about a reward and the barista repeated “well you don’t have a reward”. That was annoying but maybe that barista was hard of understanding…? So I asked for a refund and the manager. The white guy came to the window, never apologized and simply asked if I used the app to pay for the card. So, I asked for Tracy and he said she wasn’t in. My thing is if the barista didn’t want to be at work he/she should’ve went home. I’m not about to pay for high tail coffee and accept attitude. I’ll be visiting the McFarland store from now on when I’m in Tuscaloosa. I can’t afford to be catching assault cases behind a coffee.

Ordered a bagel inside. Waited 15 minutes for it before politely asking a barista if they had any idea when I would be able to get my bagel only to be told “No one is working ovens right now” then the barista walked away and I finally received my bagel another 15 minutes later. This is fast food, not sit down! 30 minutes for a bagel is just super disappointing. Bad management and delegation.

Every time I come to this Starbucks I have to wait 20-30 minutes for my mobile order. I usually come in the lobby because the drive thru is out to the road. I gave three stars because I see these employees work hard, but it just looks so disorganized- and my drink was tasty. When you ask about your order they’ll say “we’re making it.” I’ve complained to corporate twice about this store and the extremely long wait times. I am glad I’ve had extra minutes to waste waiting on my order. If you are in a hurry or expect to grab and go don’t go to this location. They should know that the morning times are the busiest! This is why I usually go to the Skyland location because I am in and out in less that 5 minutes!

Literally love this Starbucks but I don’t understand why they have a slow paced person doing the food. Instead of giving a ticket to a barista to let a customer know their item isn’t available after it’s been placed online, that worker should call out for that customer and speak with them directly. Because of this situation, I had to wait an extra 5 minutes to tell them I was there and I was spoken too and had to wait another 5 for a food substitute. Making me late to work. I’m really not trying to be a Karen because I’ve worked in the food industry. Just something has to change !

A generous 2 stars. Would have been 1 star but sometimes I like their service. Literally sat in line for 10+ minutes to be told they were closing down “because of the tornado” when there isn’t even one. Welcome to Tuscaloosa…tornado watches/warnings happen. Waste of a building and waste of my lunch break. Next time, please try advertising or putting a sign out.

Great coffee and service! Pesto panini good too. Line moved quickly. Nice guy at drive-through window. It was bright light at noon and I didn't see anything on screen so I neglected to leave tip. Will go back through soon and leave extra tip and be more mindful!

This is the closest Starbucks to me, and every time I come I find myself waiting 20-30 mins in drive through line. I come here often and 9/10 times the wait is always 20-30 mins this is ridiculous. They often have a sign saying dangerous wait times but these waits have been going on for way to long. I would understand if there was only 2-3 people working but there would literally be 6 people working. There coffee is great but not worth the wait !

Braxton is an amazing barista, and I will now only go during his shifts. The morning crew is always way over their head - today makes twice in the past two weeks that I ordered a drink and waited over an hour for it and they never made it. Don’t waste your time.
