Menu is good. Food taste is good. Service is beyond bad. Front of the house is poorly managed. Waiter was awful and kitchen was pitiful. One meal arrived after all other dinners had finished eating with no apology or anything. A take it and be glad you got it approach. We got there at 8:45. Kitchen closed at 10 and when we asked about desert the waiter just said well the kitchen is closed. It wasnât our fault it took forever to get food and drinks. And he never came and said,âhey the kitchen is about to close would you like dessert?â Just a mess of a place to eat. Very loud as well.
Very adequate, which maybe is not ok for how expensive it was.
Drinks were well done. Gumbo was very good. Steak and Brussel sprouts were excellent. Russet potatoes were cold, like they were refrigerated and then inadequately microwaved. Service was slow. We were celebrating a birthday, and no candle was given with dessert (even though this was mentioned when we originally ordered). We have had better experiences here in the past, so this seemed a bit unusual. Willing to try again.
Unfortunately this visit was one of the worst.. Host had no clue what his job was. Was always avoiding eye contact. Then it took 20 min till the clueless waiter showed up. We ordered the drinks and appetizers. The drinks came 15min later. After another 30 min the appetizer showed up. Btw maybe 6 tables have been occupied with guests. End of the story when we got the main course an our has past. The food was ok. But the service really donât match with the Embassy Suits Hotel where the restaurant is located.
This place has changed so much, and not for the better. Hostess was not professional or friendly, almost abrasive the way she spoke to us. No menus given when we sat down. Food came out at different times for our group. This place has gone from a 5-star to a 1-star unfortunately. We won't be back.
The food was all very good. The server was very welcoming and attentive. A very good experience all the way around.
This is not a great place to go for a meal. The service and meal preparation was extremely slow and my meal was served cold. After eating there my stomach was killing me. Won't be back.
Waited 45 minutes for cold food and dry chicken. Server disappears and is not attentive. Only people in the restaurant.
Went in for a quick bite. The gumbo was delicious & just what we needed. Great service , too. Thanks!
I never do this but it’s necessary. We made a reservation for a Birthday. They sat us at a bad table. I requested to be moved to a better table and I was given a hard time. They wouldn’t move us while there were several tables available and no one sat at them the entire time we ate. They were out of a few things on the menu. We asked for a birthday dessert and before they brought it, came to the table and said., your birthday dessert will be here shortly. We were surprising the birthday girl and the hostess blew it. Overall not friendly, unorganized and the food was average. Won’t be going back.
