Atmosphere is perfect. Service was nice. Food was very bland. Fried chicken had no flavor at all. The cheese and meat board was nothing to make you order again. Needs a good chef to make this place the top of the town.
Great atmosphere, beautiful view, attentive and friendly staff, this would be a perfect place to come for a romantic dinner date. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the food was not worth as much as they charge. I had the river burger and it was okay. I would suggest using a different bun because that bun was like wonder bread. We went during the lunch menu so I cannot say anything about the dinner menu.
Great place! My husband and I boated around today, saw it, docked and had the yummiest brunch there. The outdoor seating is awesome and the Irish coffee's great too. Shout-out to David, our awesome server, and we'll be back for the gouda grits.
The location is amazing. There is seating on the outside that places you beside the Black Warrior river which is a great backdrop for dinner. They have a good menu, that’s not overwhelming but offers something for almost anyone.

Appetizers were great. Entrees were way below par from what I was expecting. Place was packed, maybe the locals love it but I’m not a local. ?
We had high hopes for this restaurant given it's lovely location, however unless you are seated outside, the restaurant is dark, tables are weirdly high next to very low banquettes, and the food is dismal. My daughter and I both had the pesto pasta, mine with shrimp and hers with chicken. The pasta was gummy and my daughter's chicken was inedible. My son had the barbacoa flatbread that was all flatbread and no barbacoa. The charcuterie platter was ok, but the bread served with it was hard; not toasted, just hard. Very disappointing meal. Our waiter was fine, as was his service; but the hostess was unfriendly and took a very long time to even notice we had entered the restaurant. With all of the amazing restaurants in Tuscaloosa, this is definitely one to miss.
We waited 30 minutes for a table...but we did not mind! When we got in the restaurant everyone was so nice and attentive! We had an appetizer of oysters and they were delicious...but we ordered a Margretia flatbread that we didn't like it and they took it off our check. My boyfriend had the filet steak and mashed potatoes with carrots and he loved it and I had the Salmon with asparagus and I loved it! We will be coming back soon!
Nice ambiance and atmosphere. Very nice service. Food a little too salty and bland, quite overpriced for specific dishes such as $19 for a piece of fried chicken. Overall cost of meal did not match our expectations and dishes served. Not sure we finished our meals. Disappointing to spend that much money on average meal. Suggestion to add more to menu, improve dishes taste, and lower prices slighlty
