One of my favorite places in Tuscaloosa. We go To Rita's a lot they have different type of drinks, sweets and Ice-cream very nice spot for a tasty treat. The place is clean and organized inside they have different kind of seats and tables you can take your book, laptop with u and work or study there. the staff is nice, overall I like the atmosphere there Recommended!

They have the best custards you can find in TTown
Good spot for a nice treat! This place is in the same place as PJs coffee. Ritas custard is delicious and creamy and they have so many flavors that change throughout the week. When I went, they had vanilla, strawberry, cotton candy, mint, orange creamsicle, butter pecan, cake batter. They also have Italian ices whose flavors also rotate. You can get concretes, blendinis (Italian ice + custard), gelatis, Milkshakes, or even just ice cream or Italian ice in a cup or cone. There are so many toppings/mix ins you can choose from, and workers will let you sample if you want. Tasted amazing, but it's a bit overpriced for what you get. I got a concrete with cotton candy custard and sprinkles, which was $6 for what looks like a 12 oz portion. Super sweet and creamy though!
The Italian ice was smoother than I normally associate with that. And, they have some custard/Italian ice combinations which is unique. The quality was good and I though the price (given the location) was very reasonable.
First time I dropped by the were out of custard! Second time was better. Had a milkshake. Friendly staff, good milkshake.
They need to open more across the south
Friday evening and 100 degrees … the 2-person crew rocked it! They provided great suggestions and excellent service. Delicious Concretes … caramel frozen custard with peanut butter and fudge.
