The food was amazing, and the staff was on point! Definitely recommend this place.
My first time here and I'll be back everytime I come to Tuscaloosa. When I say the flavors and aromas are amazing it's no exaggeration. I even loved their black eyes peas and I hate black eye peas. I got the oxtails which were perfectly prepared and seasoned to a savory fall off the bone perfection. The peas and rice is a delicious take on a dirty rice style but with less heat and a deeper island flavor maybe with a hint of cinnamon? The mashed potatoes were just salty enough to cut through the heavy semi sweet gravy that tops it. Finally I tried the callaloo which had a nice toothy bite despite being well stewed and a fresh vinegar taste to clear the palette.The location is nicely appointed with some chill music playing and of course a ton of Bob Marley and reggae art.The service too was fantastic very fast able to explain anything on the menu and really good drinks at the bar.Please give this place a try if you haven't become a regular if you have they're fantastic.

Okay atmosphere. The food was just okay. I ordered curry chicken and rice and peas. The service was OK. I had to seat myself and walk-up to the bar to be acknowledged. I'll come back to try another menu item.Overall, when they first opened in 2020, they were much better!!! I miss that?

me and my girls went out for a girls night and it was my first time there the atmosphere was amazing the food was great the drinks were great and they also got me to sing karaoke it was a great night I enjoyed it and I will do it again

Well food is good no doubt but plates should be served as combination instead of separate purchases! Tried calling to order but no answer had a medium size crowd but nevertheless phone should be answered! Drink prices are okay and thr setting isn't too bad. Just work on combination plates and set a price and I'm aware I think they are adding another location. Might hold 75 ppl at most to me.

I see why it was the least crowded due to the customer service I guess it was the shift being as my first time it was evening and the second time was during lunch. I'm originally from Birmingham so the change of atmosphere is good hopefully my next experience will be better if I decide to visit again.
