As always the best Chinese food in Tuscaloosa. The market is fantastic and full of fresh and authentic Chinese foods and ingredients, the staff is always super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the lunch specials as well, it's a good amount of food for the price and very delicious. Also if you order the dumplings get them pan fried but extra crispy.

Not Chinese food. The duck was rubber and tasted like it had been rehydrated. The onion was pickled and the dishes were too sweet. Nothing in my takeaway was fresh. Seemed days old. Only plus was store side had a good selection.

Mr. Chen’s brings the heat. Lunch specials are a solid deal and the dinner portions are definitely large enough to have leftovers for a second meal. I love the Mongolian beef and all of the chicken dishes that are “different” but taste super similar

No no no I do not recommend this place . What a rip off . When you order a vegetable lo mein, shouldn’t there be vegetables in it. Gosh they must think we are stupid! The food is mediocre at best.

This authentic Chinese American establishment is a kudos to the wonderful culture of China. The unique (for Americans) finds you can get your hands on are thrilling. Every time I visit I end up making a new meal I’ve never tasted before. Sometimes it’s not so much my flavor and sometimes it’s fabulous!I’ve been to Chinatown in Chicago and Toronto and Mr. Chen’s is about as close to the real Chinatown finds you’ll get in Tuscaloosa, AL. Dare I say within 45 mile radius of Tuscaloosa.By the way I am referring to the shopping section indoors and not the restaurant. The restaurant deserves all the same praise indeed.

It's one of the best Chinese places I've ever eaten. They also have a market within the restaurant that has a lot of unique things. Will definitely be visiting again

This restaurant was amazing! The service was fast and friendly, but the food far exceeded what I was expecting. This isn’t just a normal everyday Chinese restaurant with the same menu you can find anywhere. The plates were huge, and the food was so delicious. They had the best egg drop soup I’ve ever eaten. Definitely recommend 100%!

I ordered two bubble drinks and one order of kung pow beef and the total was $30. The food was good and the condiments tasted expired. Never again

Decided to shop the grocery side and was sad they don’t accept EBT anymore :( not sure when this change but they could’ve put a sign on the door. Was told this by the cashier, who always seems to walk every time I’m ready to check out.

Great every time, I have never had a time I didn't like it.
