We were visiting from California for a University of Alabama campus tour and we decided to get some ribs from this spot.The service was terrible, we felt like we were disturbing their quiet shift. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived and left. The space was dirty and the girl who took our order seemed annoyed when she gave us our food in a basket and we told her we wanted it to go. We asked her is she put our banana pudding in our bag and she responded with an attitude as she said “WHAT”. We asked her if everything was in the bag and she responded yes. We were so annoyed we just wanted to get out of there. When we got back to the hotel room we realized that she did not give us our fries or extra bbq sauce.I had to go back and get my paid items.We should have gone to the WB bar and grill next door where it was busy. We probably would have gotten better service?
Used absolutely love this place! Wife brought home the sorriest plates we’ve ever eaten today. The cornbread was absolutely the hardest, driest I’ve ever gotten here.The rest of the plate tasted the blandest I’ve received from the restaurant.We decided no more money going here when your paying 40+ for 2 plates and one extra side.
Good bbq served hot and fresh. Sides were tasty. Good sized portions. Full bar service as well. Can get busy. Parking on the street in downtown.
Seriously best BBQ! You can add sauce, but really don't need it. Smoked perfectly and has a great peppery taste... Loved it!
Can’t beat Monday night 50c wings! It’s hard to find wings that aren’t dried out and burnt, but Moes smoked wings hit the spot every time. Just tried their fried shrimp and it was TO DIE FOR.
I think the Bama style BBQ sandwich is the best in town. They offer collards as a side that are awesome, and they have all the other great sides. Plus they prepare their own chips! We love to go there to eat!

I can’t find smoked wings and white sauce that compare to Moe’s. I should also mention the Redneck Nachos. I have never had anything like them anywhere else.
BBQ platter was delicious. Meat was tender and had great flavor even without sauce. Smoked wings are bigger than most places and are seasoned with sauce. So good! This is our new favorite BBQ place
