Relaxes environment. Staff EAGER TO PLEASE CUSTOMER! When asked to modify a sandwich to a No Bread option, they quickly agreed and gave me options. Cook staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Delicious food including Grape Leaves & Baklava. WILL vVsit Again!

This place is great! The gyros sandwich and the redneck gyros sandwich were both GREAT! I got the southern coleslaw as a side and my husband got the roasted vegetables- both delicious. I recommend eating here when in Tuscaloosa! Roll Tide!
First timer. I got the hummus appetizer and chicken philly flatbread with fries. Flavors were all really good! And the fries were crunchy. I'll definitely try other items in the future.

I came to the Mediterranean Sandwich Company on a Saturday afternoon, wanting to check out this new spot. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and look of the space as soon as I walked in. I ordered a gyro and fries, but asked for no lettuce on the gyro. The wait was a bit long, around 15 minutes. That being said, the restaurant was crowded and you could tell the staff was working hard to get food out. When it arrived, I was happy with the appearance and aroma and knew it was time to get serious. I started with a couple of fries and was rewarded with a sensationally crispy outer crust and intimately fluffy inside. You think 5 gum stimulates your senses? Get these fries and try not to cry. Quite possibly the best fries in Tuscaloosa. I regained my composure and took a swing at the gyro. It was quality, coming with a respectable amount of meat and I enjoyed the Tzatziki sauce. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely return. Also, the restroom has a sink made by Dyson... they should stick to vacuums. 4 stars.
This place is so good! One of my favorite places in ttown. You really need to try the redneck gyro. A good mix of southern food and a Greek flair. Really you need to go. I love this place and can’t recommend it enough
EXCELLENT food. I love that they have some more traditional items on the menu (dolmas, etc). Very pleased overall, but I feel like it would be perfect if the prices were about 8%-10% lower. The staff is excellent, the food seems to be high quality, and it has a good atmosphere, so it IS worth the money, but I just can't justify going as often as I'd like because of the price. The price is also why they only got 4 stars. I definitely feel like they deserve 5 stars, but those prices hold them back just enough in my mind.
The food here is amazing! The pitas are great, and even the pasta is excellent!Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. My only complaint would that the space feels crowded, even without it being gameday!
