First review of my life. Worst place in the world. Worst tacos in the US. People has no respect for customers.

I definitely won't go back again, I deserved it very kind and cute but the food is not good, well what I ate

My husband and I have been coming to Los Tarascos for years. He remembers when it was tiny space further east on Skyland. We just had another lovely meal here. I am so happy this restaurant has made it through the trials we have all faced owing to the pandemic. There's a clear reason: they are consistent. It is hard to sit down and not have salsa and chips in front of you within a minute or so. The frozen margarita is the best (well, there is one in Sebring, Florida that will give them a run for the money). And the shish-kabob with steak is so good. But best of all is the service. We got tshirts this evening and are so grateful to have this restaurant in our lives. Shout-out to the most incredible servers who have been there for years and the new faces. You all make the restaurant one for the history books!

Service was great w/ a smile!Beans and corn tortillas were really awesome! We orders the 3 item combination lunch plates. It's was too much for me, but enough for my husband. A little disappointed on the birria tacos. Being from Texas, they were not what I am used to. Usually made with corn and deep fried crispy with goat meat. Salsa didn't wow me.

My girlfriend and I have only eaten at Lupe’s once but we think our sad experience here should be shared. We both ordered their quesabirrias and margaritas special and were super disappointed. Traditional quesabirrias are usually made with corn tortillas dipped in consomé and pan-fried until they’re crispy, and these tacos came with uncooked flour tortillas that tasted like you could probably find them at Walmart. They came with the Great Value fiesta cheese blend and the consomé it was served with was not that great. The margaritas tasted great and their service was good but they really couldn’t make up for the tacos. The meal was around $45 and definitely wasn’t worth it but we were both starving. We were so excited to find a restaurant serving quesabirrias in Tuscaloosa and were incredibly disappointed.

I had the chicken flautas they were on point will definitely come back

The food here was so fresh and flavorful. Really enjoyed our lunch.

Employees and owner are very friendly and make sure everything is good. Place is nice. I like how it does feel like a mexican restaurant and helps when being away from home. Now to the food, chips and salsa were ok, I ordered the quesabirria tacos and a side of beans and rice. Beans and rice were okay; rice was lacking a little bit of flavor and color. Now to the quesabirria tacos, these were not authentic birria tacos, the tortillas were not fully cooked, for these type of tacos the tortilla needs to be a bit toasted and the cheese was overpowering flavor of the meat, the consome was lacking a lot of flavor aswell. I have to be strict since I have eaten mexican food at home all my life and I also go around the country so I've had really good food and really bad food. I give it 4 stars because service is 5 stars and food is 3 stars. Soy estricto con la comida mexicana porque la eh comido toda me vida en casa y también la eh comido en CD.Mexico, Chihuahua y Cancun Quintana Roo. El servicio fue excelente solo la comida le falto el toque mexicano, que no se pierda.

I just love this restaurant the manager is cool he always gives me good ideas to cook..

Service could have been better. No one spoke good English. No one ever checked with us to see if we needed anything and we constantly had to get the staffs attention to get serviced. Tuesday's margaritas are $3.99 all day and are very good drinks. The queso should have been better, however the main entree's were delicious.
