The chips and salsa was good, the wait staff was good. The fajitas we got didn't come with rice and beans (maybe because it was lunch?) We also were surprised to be charged for a kids milk when we bought a kids meal. Usually it comes with it. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances simply because it is conveniently close to where I live; however, the hostesses and employees that work up front have deterred me from ever coming back again. I walked in yesterday evening wanting to enjoy a nice meal for 1, the hostess asked me if I wanted to sit at the bar (I understood since it’s just me). When I told her I would prefer a booth, she said everything is full (no problem, I don’t mind waiting). I then preceded to ask her if there would be a wait time for a booth and she said “No, everything is just full”…I stood there for a couple of seconds confused on why I couldn’t be seated if there is no wait for a booth, and why I could not be added to the waitlist if everything was “full”. Instead of escalating the situation further, I just chose to leave. In March of this year, when my partner and I arrived to enjoy a nice meal, the hostess wasn’t available, so an employee that worked at the register up front wrote our name and phone number down and said someone would let us know when a table is ready. So after 5-10 minutes of waiting outside, and watching other customers walk in and not have to wait to be seated, we learned that the employee who put our names on the waitlist did not even inform the hostess that she did. We also learned that there was obviously not a wait as other customers who came in after us were seated immediately. When I confronted the worker, she first denied even writing our name and number down on a waitlist, then laughed and said “Ohhhh, sorry about that”. I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced any issues with the employees and hostesses up front, but this restaurant is not worth my time anymore.

My husband and I have been coming to Los Tarascos for years. He remembers when it was tiny space further east on Skyland. We just had another lovely meal here. I am so happy this restaurant has made it through the trials we have all faced owing to the pandemic. There's a clear reason: they are consistent. It is hard to sit down and not have salsa and chips in front of you within a minute or so. The frozen margarita is the best (well, there is one in Sebring, Florida that will give them a run for the money). And the shish-kabob with steak is so good. But best of all is the service. We got tshirts this evening and are so grateful to have this restaurant in our lives. Shout-out to the most incredible servers who have been there for years and the new faces. You all make the restaurant one for the history books!

I visited Los Tarascos a few weeks ago when I was in Tuscaloosa for business purposes. The food was incredibly delicious. I enjoyed it so much I ordered carry out 2 nights in a row. I will definitely be dining here on my next business trip next month. The wait staff were fast and friendly. They order was prepared quickly. If you are looking for delicious Mexican food look no further.

always a joy eating here BUT the bar tender was our server and she was standing for about 10 minutes just talking to I guess a friend of hers? very inattentive and side tracked. I've been eating at their different locations since I was old enough to eat. disappointed in the service but the food is excellent as always.

This food was so good. And our waiter was just as amazing. Definitely eat here if you get the chance! You won't be disappointed.

I rated a five because of customer service but my significant other and I went in to have drinks and I ordered a margarita, frozen and it was terrible,it was more liquid than frozen and too sweet but Lauren that assisted us was a sweet heart she tried everything in her power to fix my drink with out any complaints.

My friend and I had some business to take care of in Tuscaloosa this evening. We decided to try this restaurant & the food and drinks were good. Waiters and staff very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. A must stop in if you are in town

The restaurant looked great, packed atmosphere, prompt seating, food was hot and fresh. However it had absolutely NO SEASONING OR FLAVOR. I've eaten more flavorful food at a hospital. Would not recommend.

The wait staff was attentive and prompt. It was a busy Saturday night but the food was still good.
