I eat here alot and the bento boxes are great. The only downside is that since they moved they stopped using the actual bento boxes which takes away from the experience.

The restaurant is very clean, organized, cheap, and the sushis are Delicious!

This is my favorite place in town! They have the best steak, boba tea, and tempura. High recommend!

Great place for inexpensive Japanese food. Their Miso soup was great. Unagi Don was delicious.

I've been twice and very disappointed each time. Food is not fresh and it is rolled by mistry person in the back. Huge giant yet thin rolls that fall apart and don't fit in my mouth. No restaurant ambiance just 4 tables in a corner....but mostly it's just not good food. Confused why the high reviews unless the employees have been boosting. I wanted to give them another shot but don't see the point

They have the best sushi in town! The owners and staff are very courteous. You should definitely give Ichiban a try today! ?

Amazing place to eat! Fairly reasonable cost wise. While I have not had their sushi, the bento box option is to die for! This new location looks very nice too, though it does seem smaller than the last one for now.

No flavor at all for sushi. The teriyaki sauce is awful and the rice is mushy.

Fantastic family, delicious dining, superb service, and awesome atmosphere; Ichiban has it all! Our family has loved eating here since our girls were babies. (They’re teens now.) There are Japanese restaurants and then there are ‘must visit or live an unfulFILLed’ life Japanese restaurants. Ichiban in Tuscaloosa rates above even those. Experience the best Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar in Alabama, perhaps even the country as soon as you can!

We got a bento box and sushi and the sweet potato sushi was amazing. I loved my steak bento box, all this was SO well priced and fed both of us with leftovers. The owner was so nice and gave me extra steak sauce and I wish we had these in Houston!
