I went to HH for the first time yesterday after having it cater many law school events at UA. I have always personally enjoyed their coffee more than any other coffee shop in Ttown. I am so impressed with this spot! It is a fantastic place to study for finals with the many different rooms and cozy atmosphere. I got the most delicious maple pecan scone, and the worker at the counter was delightful in helping me pick out what flavor. You can likely catch me here many time over the next few years studying and try all the rest of the scones!
Only reason why I give this a 4 instead of a 5 is because their drive thru tends to be VERY slow. The food and drink is amazing, but I have had to wait 30+ minutes on food in the driveway before.
Heritage House Coffee is One of the best coffee's i have been to. Their Tea and coffee options are the best, they have Decaf and unsweet options. The staff is super kind and sweet the guy that take orders is very helpful and friendly wish him all the best. The place is very nice organized the atmosphere is cozy perfect to hangout with friends, partner... The coffe house is quite big there are plenty seating areas outside and inside. There are quiet spots like small rooms inside the coffee if you wanna work or study there. I like the Idea of Prayer wall it gives soul to the place. Overall we enjoyed our time there, will be visiting more.Highly Recommend!
This place is awesome, I got hooked on the java back when they were in the old location. Great variety of coffee and food options. The staff is unbelievably friendly and are a pleasure to interact with. If you are looking for something different from your typical coffee/breakfast spot. You have found it!

Great place to eat, grab a coffee, and study! Atmosphere is very relaxed and is usually pretty quiet. Both locations can get very busy when finals roll around, so keep that in mind!
Sugar daddy coffee was good but a little too sweet for my preference. French toast sticks were delicious and a bit different than I have ever had them as they are made out of some type of thick cinnamon bread.
Delicious coffee! Good atmosphere. Good food, good people, great place to sit in work or study.
A local staple, Heritage House NEVER fails to deliver a delicious cup of coffee, a mouth watering fresh baked good (or 5), and a comfortable, homey atmosphere to enjoy it all in. Everyone is always friendly, the place is always clean, and again, the most delicious coffee in town. I always recommend Heritage House to anyone who will listen.Coincidentally, this is the only place I've found that is socially acceptable to ask a stranger for a "large sugar daddy."
Visiting Heritage House for us is a MUST when in Tuscaloosa. The staff are friendly, the menu options for breakfast and coffee is quite nice and the scones are absolutely the best every. There is enough space to sit and relax if not on the go. I only wish they had Sunday hours, or at least considered it on UA gameday weekends/parent weekends. We will avoid Starbucks at all times to have great coffee elsewhere.
