This is not the same Fujiyama, it has changed owners and is not quite as good as previous owner. I ordered takeout, my son went to pick it up, brought it home and it was ALL wrong. We drove back and they said they would fix it while I waited. They forgot to tell the kitchen staff, so I waited even longer. Finally got my food (I should have looked before I left, but trusting that they would get it right) took it home and still wasn't right. I give up
I came to Tuscaloosa to see my doctor which I traveled 3.5 hrs to get to ! My daughter had been telling me how we should go to this restaurant when we get into town and I’m glad we did !!!! I wish I knew the cashier name who took my order but what a impact she was such a SWEEEEETHEART !! My baby loved her as you can see !! I highly recommend Fujiyama ❤️❤️ Amazing customer service and delicious food !!! I will be back very soon !!!!

I love the rice and the veggies. So delicious!!! The pot stickers were amazing and I really enjoyed the clear soup. Can’t wait to go back. The owner Wayan took time to come to our table to get our input on the menu. Nice touch!!!
The hibachi steak & shrimp combo was delicious. Ordered a mixed greens salad on the side and was offered clear soup. Everything was very good.
Hands down my favorite place to go eat! The workers are always lovely, the restaurant is always very clean, and the food has always been great. I’ve been coming here regularly for a few months now and have never been disappointed. My favorite on the menu is the spicy beef salad, perfect combination of filling and refreshing and a beautiful presentation! 10/10 recommend :)
We’ve eaten at Fujiyama 13 times over the last 5 years. Not sure if this 13th time was just unlucky, or if as I suspect, they’ve come under new ownership. The food wasn’t as good this time around. I immediately noticed the cashier area is now redesigned, the menu was no longer up on the wall, and I think they may have had a different point of sale system. (The guy on the phone also said they had no fillet mignon, which I now wonder if wasn’t a new change to the menu.)Anyway, the noodles weren’t nearly as flavorful, my chicken was dry and a little lacking in flavor, and the wife’s steak wasn’t as good as usual either. The portions are still large, so if you make two meals out of one plate, it was still worth the cost, but hopefully the food was just lacking because of staffing changes during spring break or something… ??
Ignore the shrieking masked Karens and the one star reviews from people who didnt even eat the food. This restaurant has great food.
Although the food was made quick I now have the runs. I ordered the spicy chicken hibachi meal. Could have just been a one time issue.
Never disappointed at this place! The food is quick, the portions are nice, and the taste is great! We always order the chicken teriyaki. I am sure the other items on the menu are just as good, but that happens to be our favorite!
