The wait for the actual table wasn’t long at all maybe 10 minutes. The waitress came and greeted us and got our drinks. She was sat another table shortly after us and went and got their drinks and whenever she came back to proceeded to take their food order before ours. It took her another 10-15 minutes to come to our table to take our order. Our food took almost an hour to come out and whenever it came out most of it was either cold or lukewarm. She kept forgetting other small stuff to grab for our table. We had two separate tickets for the table and it took the kitchen 10-20 for to bring out half of the tables food due to the fact that she had put it in the computer system at separate times. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Hashbrown casserole and whenever it came out the plate was hot but the food wasn’t. It was like it was sitting under a heater for too long. The casserole was so cold I couldn’t eat it. The potatoes were also cold and they had forgotten the gravy that was supposed to go with it and by the time they brought it out it was too cold to eat. Would not recommend going if you are on a time schedule. The food was definitely not worth it, neither was the service.

The waitress was very nice but the food had a few problems that could have been corrected had the manager had a better attitude. And they were out of a lot of things people wanted. We were stared at until we left. I will not be patronizing again.

This is a pretty normal Cracker Barrel! The staff were friendly, the food came out quickly, and the portions were big. There are a few things I do need to note though. The hash brown casserole and the mashed potatoes were just slightly warm. They should have been hot! The mashed potatoes were good but should have had more milk in them because they were falling apart. Mashed potatoes should be fluffy and in one piece! Our waiter also forgot our biscuits. :,(The country fried steak wasn’t the best which really disappointed me. It tasted like straight hamburger meat with a bread coating. It wasn’t great…Other than that, the rest of the food tasted great and I was full only eating 1/2 of the country fried steak and all the sides. The prices were also fair. Gift shop was cute.

The last two experiences has not been good and I love this restaurant . I arrived at 7:26am, placed to go order at 7:33am it was not busy and multiple employees so I don’t think staffing was an issue. I didn’t receive my order (2 Grandma Samplers) until 8:10am which the waiter apologized for the wait. When I got home and opened my food I was very disappointed the food was not hot or even warm like it had been sitting. If I’m going to wait over 30 minutes I would like for my food to be hot.

I had a disastrous experience. Seems so simple to get a take out order. Not for me. First, I called but the phone disconnected. So, I went in and was told to go to the hostess station. She went to the kitchen to get somebody. Nobody came. After a good long while I requested to be seated. I would order from there. Then they said it was shift change and therefore it was taking a little longer. I ordered the food - she brought the ticket and I went and paid. Then, I went to browse in the store area. I walked and looked and looked and walked - meanwhile trying to decide if this was some kind of joke? I went and sat back down at the table and my waitress explained that the chicken tenders were accidentally burned and they were preparing more. Ok.When I got home the majority of the chicken tenders were burned to a crisp and there was no honey mustard.Hands down the most unorganized situation and the absolute worst food I have ever received. Bottom line: never again. I am sure that I won't be missed and that's ok. But neither will I miss the chaos that is happening currently at the Cracker Barrel in Tuscaloosa where it took me over an hour to get burned up chicken tenders.

just had the worst experience ever in a restaurant. Our server was polite and our order was served within a reasonable time. There were no knives on the table and we were told they didn't have any knives because the "dishwasher person" was not in. After a lengthy wait and some begging for a knife we were finally offered steak knives. I had tried cutting my grilled chicken with a fork without success. it was well cold by the time I got s knife. I then made the mistake of ordering a warm chocolate dessert served with the smallest ball of ice cream I have ever seen with - you guessed it - no spoons. We asked 3 staff people and finally got spoons. By this time the ice cream was completely liquid ant the hot fudge cake had turned gummy. The poor waitress seemed completely overwhelmed and unable to cope. Won't be back!

Had a great breakfast! The service was top notch and everything was clean. We enjoyed Uncle Hershel breakfast with chicken fingers, very good.

This place has seriously gone downhill. I usually don’t complain too much with service considering how stressful of a job it can be. However, this past time was absolutely pathetic. We were sat almost immediately and greeted shortly after. Our server (not sure of her name but she had pink hair) took our drink orders and returned 10 minutes later with no drinks. She asked for our food order which was fine, we were ready order anyway. We continued to wait for our drinks while we watched the other servers in the restaurant not only get their guests drinks but even bread before we had received our drinks (we were sat first). When the drinks arrived we were missing lemons (which we never got). We then waited an additional 15 minutes and our server came back with butter and jelly with some silverware, still with no bread. We watched as other tables with 4-5 people who had sat down after the two of us get their food. Eventually someone who was not our server dropped bread off but at that point it was far too late and our evening was already ruined. I refused to stay and pay for an experience like that.

Waitress was excellent. She was very attentive and friendly..Took a few minutes to chat with us. Food was delicious. Had Maple Bacon chicken. First time served with tomato. Atmosphere was quiet. Would highly recommend.

You could start by getting my order right. I ordered 3 ham plates with the same veggies and a sampler plate. Paid for all of it online, including a tip. When my mother went to pick up our meal, they did not have everything we ordered. They argued with her and charged her again for one of the plates I already paid for. Do better Cracker Barrel.
