The Chuck E. Cheese in Tuscaloosa was frustrating today. My sons pre k class were there for an end of the school year event and the usual machines were broken and it's been that way for quite some time. Also the parents were told that our food would be served to us at 1030 but none of us received our food until 11 ar which point we asked for our money back. This is what happens when you leave teenagers unattended.

It was bad service and they didn’t clean off the table

It was slow service and they don’t clean up the table

The customer service of their team members was AWFUL.. Except for the young man at the door. But their games all worked for the most part... Shindig is a better option in Tuscaloosa

Ordered I medium sausage pepperoni pizza , an app sampler that they upsized , a large order of fries , 2 salads and 6 drinks . The girl at the register couldn’t even take my order and told me I’d have to wait until the guy next to her got free . They brought out the pizza and the large fries 30 minutes later but had to remind them about the app sampler . About 15 minutes later they brought the cheese bread and fries that were part of the sampler but no wings , 10 minutes later they brought the wings which were stone cold so we sent them back , never to be brought back to us ! They did come by and told us they had an extra pizza that they just gave us ! I was in food service for 40 years and #1 the cashier was very unprofessional, had to drag everything out of her until I finally understood she wasn’t going to take my order and then the servers had no clue as to what was going on !

Maybe it’s because I was an 80s kid but Chuck E. Cheese has gone down hill. Remember the ball pit, animatronics and slide? It used to be so fun! I get why they got rid of that though. It’s a smart business move. They also do not stamp everyone’s hand anymore. That was a bit disappointing. So here’s what we experienced today.Pros: the manager (young lady) was helpful and polite. The food is good. $15 for 4 wings, a medium fry and a full serving of cheesy bread is fair. Having your tickets and tokens on a card is easier to handle. $3 for a drink with unlimited refills is a good price. One of the songs playing on the screen was about standing up to bullies, sad but necessary. The young man who was bringing out food acted quickly when a customer told him about a broken game. Sadly that was it…Cons: it’s so expensive. The salad bar was closed. Chyna, the unhappy cashier said it was only temporary though. The bathroom was disgusting. The toilet filled with throw up had been there awhile because it was dried on the seat. The broom and dustpan full of used tissues was just sitting there for over an hour. A LOT of games are broken but will still take your points off and I believe it’s non refundable? ? My daughter lost like 10 points this way. One of the games was filthy, like with mildew. I got the sampler app and it took 40 minutes to come out. My friends personal pan never came out and after an hour he just asked for a refund. They have a game towards the back on the floor that’s halfway open with wires, etc hanging out. It’s not going to electrocute anyone but still it seems unsafe. The sprite was outta syrup and then the Diet Pepsi went out. Some big problems some little but when you add them up and you’re hungry and waiting for food. Your kid is losing points. It sucks. We’ve decided not to go again. The games displayed below are the ones that weren’t working.

I just said that it was ok because for one the workers weren't really friendly. Alot of the games are confusing and don't tell u when they have started so I kept swiping my card. I think that this robs people of the chance to use and get Al of their money worth. There were alot of people and chuck ee cheese was their which was exciting. I think they should alarm people of this because we couldn't get a picture with him since it's whoever gets to him first type deal. It was just ok, I had anxiety thinking about Covid and how all these people were touching all the games and no mask was n sight.

We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and the workers were helpful. Chyna waited on me and she was friendly and outgoing. Keep up the good work.

I took the kids here for their spring break and they had a blast! We didn't have to wait that long, and the food wasn't that bad! My kids want to go back to have their party! Great Service, would recommend to go if you have any time to, one of the employees, Matt was really helpful!!

The kitchen was closed due to there only being 2 employees. The kids had a blast though.
