In town for business and wanted a quick easy meal. Captain D’s never disappoints. The food is always consistent and cooked as intended. The wait staff is inviting and very pleasant. I would like to see a few more caffeine free drink options but that’s only a minor thing. Have been coming to this location for the past 25 years and will continue in the future.
I order 2 deluxe seafood platter. I got them home the crab cakes where black the fish and shrimp were super hard. Called the closing store manger( Cedric) he stated” he didn’t know why the items where that way that night , but I was not the first to say something. He said they are trying to find out why. He then told me to bring my receipt and he would replace my order. I offered pictures or the food back and he said no that was not necessary, just to bring my receipt back. I go back up there tonight to get my meal and now they are refusing to replace my order. This is bs.
This Captain D's had very friendly and fast service even though they were wrapped up! The food was very good eating!

The lady at the window is the sweetest! I love when she is working. However I have NEVER had anyone be anything but sweet and kind! The line is always long so they are definitely doing something right!
Literally had approx 10 fries and 2 cold pieces of fried battered fish...sad. Wish I had taken a pic...the one time I didn't...???
2x in one week, cold green beans, corn on the Cobb cold , baked fished cold, unbelievable..We came back and talked to so called manager she could care less.I will be calling the home office on Monday.We pay high price for bad food..
We picked up some food from here last night I have always been a fan of Captain D's but this one in Prattville stands out to me more than others. The food was really good and the staff was top notch and the item that stood out to me the most which is something you don't see much often in the drive through windows was how well the young lady taking orders could communicate. She took her time and spoke very clearly and did not rush through. It may not seem like much but it makes a huge difference in the customer experience and accuracy of the order. we will defiantly be visiting again.
Very slow service in drive thru. Whenever I go I have to make sure I have plenty of time.
Drive thru is only option at the moment. Menu board was not lit, so hard to read it in the evening. After a long wait, get to the window to pay ,and I have a gift card on my phone. ' What's that 'as I show my phone. It is a captain d gift card. They had apparently NEVER seen one before. No one knew how to enter it. After 4 times trying to enter the code ,with the line building up behind me I get the managers attention and hand her my bank card to run it that way. Not exactly impressed with this location. I'm pretty sure I saw a button on the register screen that said "gift card", it was never pressed. Food was alright though!
