Never expected a gas station BBQ joint would have ok BBQ. I Hve this rule on BBQ. If you don't see smoke it's probably not reL good Q! They have a good sandwich.
This is our third time trying this place, I made sure to try different things each time to give it a fair chance. First off, I got a $.50 upcharge for the cheese on the hot ham and cheese sandwich which makes no sense. The sandwich was soggy and will go to the dog and my side was missing. My daughters fries were missing as well as one of my son's hot dogs. We had to remind them about our drinks, go back in for the ranch and decided it wasn't worth it to go back again for the other missing items.The kids working there seem rushed and indifferent, not bad workers, just not really paying attention to filling the full order. The food is overpriced to be so basic. I won't be back. My husband did like his bbq sandwich and my son said the hot dog was okay.
The food was a good lunch,freshly made. I wouldn't eat dinner here maybe carryout. But lunch atmosphere and dinner are very different.
Ordered carryout with my mum yesterday. As we waited, we watched the staff rescue a pup from going into the highway. Also, we were checked on multiple times even though we weren't eating in and had light conversations with super-friendly staff which was entertaining. My mom loved hamburger steak. Keep up the great work!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very delicious , hot and fresh. Mike and Rylie are the golden standard of what customer service is. Patient , kind, helpful, and professional . Would definitely eat here again 10/10
Excellent BBQ and very helpful staff! We even ordered takeout meals for our lunch on the road while traveling the next day. Highly recommend stopping in for a tasty treat.
Ordered tonight for dinner. In the it’s been a good experience but that’s apparently just a thing of the past. We ordered two smoked Turkey wraps. With everything on them (Turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles) we got them home and opened them to find a piece of Turkey wrapped in a tortilla. Nothing else in it. Didn’t receive our chips. Tried to call at 615 and 630 to fix the situation and no one answered the phone. I realize they close at 7 so I’m assuming they didn’t want to accept anymore orders so they stopped answering the phone early so they could leave.
Surprisingly disappointed.We waited over half an hour for some dry and overcooked food. Not only that but my fiancé is literally sick to their stomach the next day. I don't see how any likes this place ?♂️?♂️
Waited 45 minutes and still no food. The three girls behind the counter are more concerned with talking and being on their phones. Couple came in after me and placed a big order and got there food. I went up and asked about my food.We don’t have a order for you. But I have paid! Finally the third girl said it was already picked up. No it has not! I am sitting at the first table next to counter. Never acknowledged me sitting there. Didn’t even remember me paying. This is the worst service I have ever had at this place. Not sure what is going on here. Disappointed.
Hot dang this so good barbecue. I always say that little spots like this attached to gas stations are always hidden gems. Walking in the staff is super friendly and able to recommend what to get. Have eaten here a couple times and been externally happy with our food each time. Sauce is unique, bbq is moist and flavorful, and the sides are heaven. You want an orgasm in your mouth? This is it. Sweet, mild, and hot… take your pick
