I have always loved 13th Street BBQ in Phenix City, AL. But my April 15, 2021 visit was most disappointing. A rib plate was served with 6 ribs. 2 of the ribs were perfect - moist, hot, fresh. 4 of the ribs were leftover, reheated dried out ribs. I have eaten here for 11 years and most always been happy. But this use of older dried out ribs is not good. If it had been my first visit, I never would have returned.
Hands down the BEST BBQ AROUND! The RIBS ARE TO DIE FOR! I called in a order went to pick it up and they brought it out to me!! After a Hard day of work they helped this momma not have to cook! Oh & P.S try the Nonnas pudding!!!
We found this restaurant on our GPS with good ratings from TripAdvisor. We both enjoyed our meals.. Even though we were there well before noon, several items were already gone. I chose the pork chop and my husband also asked for one; however he was told there were no more. The selection of fried chicken was also limited. My husband decided to have the hamburger steak and thought it was very good. I especially enjoyed the pork chop and rutabagas, but I did not care for the turnip greens.and the cornbread muffin was heavy and very greasy.

The food is good but you don’t get your money’s worth me and my wife went there today like I said the food was good but I ordered a large pork plate and my wife got a small the small plate had about 1/4 cup of meat and the large had about a cup of meat I figured for 25$ you’d get a littel not meat but others than that the food was really good

Best bbq around here. Great sauce. Wow great service and wonderful sweet tea. The chips are Tom's brand. Great quality. Really reasonable prices. I really recommend stopping in while your in the area. You won't be disapointed.
