Food was soooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!Fresh. Good variety. Well prepared. Prices reasonable. Service was great. As we're finishing our wonderful meals about 6, it looked like the entire town was coming in for supper. We were here June 24, 2022.. Wait staff welcoming and extremely efficient . They were all very nice. We did not have plastic utensils..... Just sayin'. We were very pleased to be able to get a good meal at really great prices .
Absolutely amazing food!! Attended a party featuring a "Low Country Boil." Spicy deliciousness abounded!! I stuffed myself til i couldn't stuff no more! There was enough food for at least 40 people. I fully intend to use J's for MY future parties. Keep on keepin on, J!Z
5 stars X 100!!!!! Fish fried with excellence!! Perfect crisp with a light flakey middle!!! Okra is Krispy not soggy and the gumbo has a perfect southern taste.. Down from Kansas city and this is the best food I have had in all my travels! After a long hard day of work/Driving it hits the spot just Right!!!! Wish I could pack up the place and take it back home with me!!!!
The front desk clerk at our hotel recommended this restaurant, praising everything she had tried, especially the shrimp and even exclaimed that their burger was also terrific. Clean place. Very friendly people. Delicious grilled shrimp, very nice house salad and my hamburger with pimento cheese was a great size and incredibly good! 5 stars for sure!
Love stopping here! The food is always great. Oysters are delicious and the peel and eat shrimp are plump, cooked just right, and not covered in seasonings so there's just that sweet shrimp and butter?. Owners are wonderful people and the staff is friendly and welcoming, not overly attentive. Definitely stop in and enjoy an unencumbered lunch.
Food was absolutely delicious!!! We will be going back my husband got the surf and turf perfectly cooked steak and shrimp i had catfish platter deliously seasoned. The only thing i didn't like was the cole slaw it was extra vinager based. But overall so good.
Zero Stars! Price: $53.00 for four pieces of bland (unseasoned)fish. The waitress stated that they charge by the ounce, after our order was prepared. That was the most absurd statement in addition to the manager’s unpleasant and nonchalant attitude.
The seafood is incredible. We had the snapper and grouper platters and were very impressed. You won't find a fresher seafood selection anywhere else in town. The owners are very nice and make sure you are taken care of. We will be going back again very soon!
We arrived here for a late lunch and were not disappointed! Very much enjoyed the low country boil and shrimp and grits. The people are friendly. The cook is from Louisiana, let them know if you need them to go light on the spice.
First time there and will not be the last. Excellent selection of seafood and steaks too. We had oysters two kinds of soup and grouper. All was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was excellent
