Yes today my wife came in and placed a carryout order for a plain hamburger with only mustard and pickles and small fry LG onion ring and grilled chicken sandwich with a sm stew. I cant believe how salty these onion rings are u can barely eat them and on top of how do charge .50 cents to a burger and only get 2 pickles. I understand food cost and inflation in today's time but seriously 50 cent to and condiments to a plain burger. That's just low. And the small fry barley has anything in it. But that's ok I figured I would share this with yall and take my business somewhere else from now on. If your locally family owned restaurant's want to do things like this I suggest choosing to eat somewhere else. The staff is nice but the food is not that's great anymore.
We were very satisfied with the meal we received here. The pork barbecue is excellent. Their house hot sauce is used to enhance the meat when served. You can choose mild or hot. We chose the mild. It was very mellow in heat, and gave a tangy kick to the meat. The ribs were Excellent as well. They were perfect in texture and the flavor was smoky with a hint of what I would describe as kielbasa like taste. The BBQ slaw was Cole slaw accented with their hot sauce. It's what their sandwiches are topped with. It also was excellent. The service was exceptional as well. The prices were great and the portions were huge. Highly recommended.
This place has the best bbq hands down, but the last 2 times I’ve picked up an order there have been mistakes. One side was wrong on the pork platter one time. I ended up getting baked beans instead of potato salad. Another one I asked for the bbq sauce to be on the side of the bbq plate. Ended up being on the meat and on the side as well. Order modifications can be a bigger issue to other people and even though it was wrong I still enjoyed the meal. Just please pay closer attention!
Eat here often great place with fast service most of the time unless it's lunch or dinner call in is sometimes questionable other then that 5 stars
Me and some friends went here on our way home from Florida back to South Carolina. I know what good BBQ tastes like and this was not it. The woman who took our order was extremely rude when answering questions about the menu. We were also very disappointed when receiving our food and seeing barely any BBQ on the sandwich. I have personally never experienced such bad customer service. I highly recommend going to a different restaurant if you want good food and good service.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Went with my son and his girlfriend and dined in. The staff was super friendly the food was very good and they had really good tea. We had the 5 or $5 chipped sandwiches and a Lg order of onion rings. Yum Yum. Can hardly wait to go back again and trying other things on their menu
$5 for 5 chipped BBQ sandwiches! Nuff said! They are great! I had the large single version. My brother had the wings and was happy!
Great BBQ and they have the best deal in town with their 5 for $5 BBQ sandwiches. They also have the best tasting Brunswick Stew in the area in my opinion. I always get a whole quart of it to take home and eat later. :)
Witness one of the cooks rub her nose with no gloves on. Then proceed to finish preparing the orders. Another one of the staff members never changed her gloves. She made sweet tea, preparing orders and answered the phone with the same pair of gloves on. However, the food was very delicious and fresh.
I came PURCHASED 2 chef salads 1 regular 1 turkey only. Order repeated to me. PAID for what was odered. Cashier too busy fussing with another patron about a bottle of water. Got home one salad NO turkey at all. Terrible customer service.
