If you want some good Southern Food make sure you go visit Ed's Bar.B.Que!! Sundays you have to get there before Sunday Services ends! People are willing to stand outside to get an order! They are currently hiring more staff. My husband loves their Ribs, Greens, Mac & cheese and Dressing! The only restaurant that offers Sweet Kool-Aid as the drink!! I like the dressing, turkey wings,and jams ?
Went there for the 1st time today shouldn't listen to the reviews. Walked in and know how you doing or welcome. Nobody on the line with a smile at all. Just what can I get you. I asked about the Ribs if it was just Ribs Tips or Ribs also. Not your full size Ribs, also they looked over cooked. I decided on the fried chicken, it's set up buffet style, but how can you only have just dark meat and only one wing in white meat. Tray got passed to the next lady that took her sweet time to get over and get my to go box, just let her know just chicken only. The checkout person also took her very sweet time. To top it off chicken had no season, and Luke warm. That will be my last time going to this restaurant.
The Ribs, Cornbread dressing, and Candy yams was good. I didn't like the Collard greens, Oxtails, or the Mac-cheese but I'll definitely be back for some more Cornbread dressing....
Customer service is terrible, prices are high!We were really excited to try this place, the food certainly did not disappoint! Food was hot and delicious, portions are huge, prices are reasonable! We had meatloaf, fried chicken, squash, potatoes, macaroni and corn. Tables and items on tables were clean.This was our first visit so we were unsure how you order, etc. It is cafeteria style and I am assuming the typical plate is a meat and two sides. We asked, however the lady serving was more concerned with being extremely rude to my fiance after I asked him to go first while I decided what I wanted, there were many options and I was a little overwhelmed. She told him to get back behind me and for me to go first, so from that moment on the entire visit was awkward and uncomfortable ?, and I felt rushed to choose something. Then she acted less than happy when we requested an extra side of corn not knowing you only get two sides. She also seemed off put when asking for a very small amount of macaroni as the portions were huge, she proceeded to give me a huge amount, I hate wasting food and we don't have any way of storing it. No one was behind us, so there was no reason to rush. As we sat and ate many other couples came through and none else was treated in such a way when the gentlemen went first.We won't be back because there is no reason to ever treat a person or couple in the way we were treated, traveling 365 days a year, we have never felt so uncomfortable ordering food. We frequent the area and rarely get to eat home cooked so it was a great find, just disappointed with the experience. The one star is strictly because of the treatment we received, I would not recommend visiting unless your a regular!
Been trucking over 45 years and this place is the best place ANYWHERE by far. GREAT FOOD ALWAYS AND THE FOLKS ARE AWESOME LIKE THE FOOD. FOOD GAS BEEN THE SAME THE 5 times I’ve stopped here. Keep up the great work.ILL BE BACK FOR SURE. THANKS FOR THE GREAT FOOD AND THE AWSOME WORKERS. KW
Today was my first visit and I WILL be back. There was so much to choose from - I had ribs and squash and cabbage. Could taste the love in the cooking. They offered me a piece of cake for waiting (although I'm patient and didn't think the wait was long) but they insisted....I chose pound cake. DELICIOUS!

Wonderful experience! A LOT of food for the money and it was all great. Too many great choices. We'll need several more visits to try everything. The owner made our dining experience very personable and warm. Looking forward to our next visit!

Real southern food. Fried chicken was delicious. Best yams I've ever tasted. Food was really delicious, you won't be disappointed. Friendly staff. Clean and plenty of parking.
