Food, service & staff.... great, fast & friendly. Would highly recommend if in area around eating time, can't go wrong if you like BBQ, sides & desserts.
I love Chicken Comers best BBQ,ever . I like the hot mustard base sauce it's so yummy ?
I grew up in Phenix City and ate chicken comers bbq a lot with my family. A lot different now then it was. I thought I would try it today, haven’t had any since the reopened it. Walk in and the lady at the counter asked can I help you, I said I would like to place an order to go. Told her what I wanted and if looks could kill boy she gave me a look. I said I can go elsewhere then a young guy came from the back and so no we can serve you. Then she started complaining I can’t wait to get out of here I have had enough today. If you feel that way look for another job don’t take it out on the customers. I may or may not be back. Depends now on my mood. Have a nice business and learn to care not hate.
Rib plate is the way to go I ain't never seen no ribs so big in my life the meat is falling off the bone
The wing's and fries are great.. The prices are not to high.. But they do charge you to use you credit card.
Well let's see...BBQ and hottttt sauce says it all
I eat here at least once a week, their ribs are...were the best until today! I had my caretaker go get my usual; a rib plate with potato salad and bake beans. When she arrived it was luke warm, but I proceeded to eat anyway. I bit into the ribs and I tasted a tangy taste, thought it may have been the sauce. I ate it without the sauce, same taste. I smelled my hands and it was a foul odor coming from them, which was odd considering I had just washed my hand. I went through the meat, all but 1 bone had a creamy white substance on it, nothing I have ever seen on a rib. I picked them up and they ALL had a foul smell. I gave it back to my caretaker and told her to take it back.Once at the restaurant she was treated as if she didn't purchase that food no more than 10 mins prior to returning it. It took her 10 mins to get my money back, bc he had to "go look for the order in the computer". Add insult to injury, when he returned he acknowledged he remembered making the plate. Well, if he remember, why did she have to wait so long to get my money back?!? Overall, from what my caretaker has expressed, she felt somewhat humiliated. She was nothing but professional, bc she is on the job. She didn't bring attention to the situation in a packed restaurant, she was patient and kind, I wish it was given to her in return.
My wife went to CC's this afternoon and bought BB-Q,a bottle of sauce and 3 Banana pudding's. The BB-Q was great, but the staff left out the sauce, and ALL 3 puddings were bad, meaning either spoiled or stale. We tossed them in the trash. The staff however, were friendly regardless of the issing sauce and nasty puddings. When and if we go back,we will check for order correctness and make sure of the dessert[if we get any] are fit to eat.
I love their ribs, however, their prices are totally different than what's on the menu. I paid 7.09 for 3 ribs on 2 pieces of bread, when the drive thru menu says 6.00. I understand price increasings, but give us what was originally being served, not less and it cost more. Also, this merchant fees when using a credit card is ridiculous! Accepting credit cards is part of having a successful business, consumers shouldn't have to eat the cost for you to profit, it should already be included with the price. With that being said, I will no longer go to this restaurant. Although I love their ribs, I value my money more.
Worst service ever. I was told to hold on a sec in the drive thru and finally just gave up and left.i understand if they were busy but I was the only one there!...first and last time going to chicken comer!
