I wanted to give this restaurant 0 stars but 1 is the max that will be allowed. I went to this restaurant because I like hashbrowns from waffle house, but as I went in this store with my order in mind, I was told I would have to wait a second. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I waited about 5. I told someone I was ready to order and they once again brushed me off and told me to wait. I waited for about another 5-10 minutes and no one even looked like they considered taking my order. I eventually couldn't stand it any longer and ended up leaving the place in the end. The restaurant was not anywhere near crowded and believe my order was not taken due to laziness. I will never be going to this place again. I would not recommend anyone else go either as well.
No dine-in available. They're only doing to-go orders. Came in about 8pm, there were only 2 people working. It was clean and quiet in there. The cook made my order quickly and everything tasted amazing. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.
Went in at 8pm and they wouldn't take dine in. Ordered Chocolate milk and took a sip it was bad. I told the Waitress and she went and got me a new glass from a jug in the back. She looked at the date on the 3/4 full jug that was spoiled went to throw it away when the cook told her no and to put it back!! How gross they are just going to give it to someone else knowing its Spoiled!!
The few times I’ve been to this location they NEVER disappoint! My food is always fresh, hot, & delicious! The lemonade and sprite is must with my food!! They can get pretty busy!
Don’t waste your time going here, one of the employees was sitting in the car right in front of the door tonight at 1:45am. The door to the restaurant was locked and they just looked at us then looked back down at their phone. So much for 24 hours you may want to update your hours! Didn’t help that we called and got no answer so we went by the hours listed and this happened.
Not sure what's up with Waffle House these days, but we were disappointed to discover - on New Year's Eve of all nights - that some local Waffle Houses were not even open 24 hours, and that others (like this location) were only taking orders for pick up. For decades, Waffle House has been as popular as it is primarily because of the consistency and predictability of hours of operation and available menu items. We visited 3 different locations that night, and all were operating differently and none with any signage posted about the recent changes. Very disappointing.
Always a great experience here. Good food, excellent service, and great value for your buck. A regular breakfast stop of mine, definitely one of the more welcoming locations of the franchise. I certainly recommend a visit for a good bite to eat.
Yall need to start answering that phone. I called 5 times and no one picked up. That's ridiculous and will cause you to lose business, theres plenty of waffle houses in opelika to choose from
Fast friendly service. Waffle cooked to perfection. Always a good meal at a fair price.
